I've been trying to take a break from acrylics, dips, nail glue, etc. to give my natural nails a chance to just be themselves without looking hideous. So I thought I'd give press ons a try. I own and run a coffee shop, so my hands take a beating. Regular nail polish chips within a day. I had concerns that these guys would be popping off left and right, or possibly melting from the heat of the espresso machine, steam, etc. that my hands are subject to daily. I honestly did not have high expectations based on the price point of these little guys. My first set of these guys I used the brush on nail glue. After a few days, the nail glue was breaking down and they were, indeed, popping off (I kept the bottle of glue in my purse and would just reaffix them as they came loose.) The second set, I tried the adhesive tabs. I'm currently at one week of wear with the tabs and they are amazing. Not a single nail has popped off! Pros: - Nails are what a consider to be a natural length. I didn't have to file them down at all. - They are really durable! - Adhesive tabs are awesome. - Very affordably priced. Cons: - Brush on nail glue did not work well for me (although I do admit I was applying it very sparingly because I did not want to have to soak in acetone to get them off) - There is some movement with the adhesive tabs so certain tasks can feel "weird" with the edge of the nail pushing up against the cuticle. - The press ons don't lay very flat against the natural nail with the tabs, so my hair tends to get caught under the edges of press ons. I haven't tried removing the adhesive yet...will probably try that in a couple of days when I have the time. I intend to use very warm/almost hot water to soak in to loosen the adhesive. I'll update if I run into any trouble! ... show more

I purchased the short coffin nails. I was really excited after after previously purchasing the short square nails & loved them. Pros: Many colors & sizes, thicker than store brands, durable, makimg it easy to create a perfect fit! VERY affordable (you get 24 sets for the price of one set of the mainstream/store brands) &can mix and match for to customize your look). It comes with accessories (files, glue, cuticle sticks, stickers) & even if you don't use them for the nails, they still come in handy. Cons: 4 or 5 of the colors/designs I don't see myself ever using, the shape isn't perfect. These were longer/more slender than traditional coffin nails. BUT, since they are pretty durable, I was able to file them down. Not a perfect fit for all fingers, but if you pick the larger size closest to your fit preference, you can file down the sides for a custom fit. Other: * I don't use the glue or stick on nail tabs, but I keep them for other uses, and/or repair/touch ups. **Tips to prolong wear: 1. Use semi-solid nail glue for longer wear. No UV light is needed & it's 3X as durable, with no white residue from the glue. 2. Buy a curable gel top coat & use on these nails and the tips. This prevents chips, scratches, and gives the nail an upscale appearance. ... show more

LOVE these! The color options are great and they give you plenty of sizes to make sure you can get every finger to get the perfect fit. They do pop off every now and then but I am also rough with my hands. They were a bit long for me, but they are easy to cut and shape with no problems.

UPDATE A WEEK LATER: not only is this glue good - it's ridiculously strong. I'm adding a video so you can see what I'm talking about. I put these nails on exactly one week ago and they're still extremely strong and bonded really well. Some of them feel like they might be about to pop off but that's been happening for 3 days now and still the adhesion is incredible. As you know - you're not supposed to pull the nails off cuz it ruins your natural nail so I'm just letting them do their thing and have glue with me everywhere I go in case they pop off. In fact I've been purposely putting my hands in water more than usual to try to get them to actually fall off finally - and still nothing lol! I'll definitely be getting more of these from this company as the nails themselves are very strong and the glue is ridiculously good! Leaving this review after I just put on the first set of nails. I will update and edit if there's any change. I like these nails a lot. I have very wide thumbs and middle finger and these fit very nicely. I see people complaining about the glue but I don't think it's about the glue - The trick with any press on nails is you need to apply them and then press on them for a good 20-30 seconds. That's what really helps with long-term adhesion. Also - you need to file the top of the nail a little bit to make it course and get the oils off the nail. That absolutely helps adhesion as well. Lastly - if you're going to file the nail in any way, do it before you glue it on not after. If you do it immediately after gluing it on you're disrupting the strength of the adhesion. For now these seem very nice and strong and so does the glue. ... show more
