I love these lights! There's one serious issue with them. These EAT batteries. In three weeks, two adults and two cats and a small dog, these come on often. Not really a lot, but apparently, enough for them to literally drain the batteries. Three batteries tested at .091 volts, and one at .04, literally fully drained. I placed some black duct tape around the motion sensors on the ones in the places where they don't need to be so sensitive. See photos. It really works in limiting the area where they will activate. I wish they didn't use so much battery power. Their function, is great otherwise.

I bought this to go in my shower because it was so dark in there it was hard to shave my legs and make sure I didn't leave any hair behind. This light is perfect for what I need. Super easy to install as i was able to install it in the ceiling of my shower without any trouble. The motion detection is great and the amount of time the light stays on is perfect as it doesn't waste the batteries and light up the shower after i get out. When the shower curtain is closed it doesn't pick up any motion in the rest of the bathroom which is awesome when peeing in the middle of the night because the toilet is right next to the shower. I'm so happy I bought this light!! I did try my luck with Amazon Basics batteries in it but they didn't last. I've had this light about a month and a half and the batteries died today. But I just ordered the Rechargeable C Batteries with Charger,BONAI LCD Battery Charger for C D AA AAA 9V Ni-MH Ni-CD Rechargeable Batteries with 5000mAh C Rechargeable Cells (4-Counts) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RFB4R8K/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_89QMEb7QX26BE so I should be all set now, no more hairy legs!!!

I bought this light to put on the ceiling of my closet in my rental apartment since it had no previous lighting. At first it worked great. But I have had this product for a few weeks now and it has become more of a nuisance than anything. This light turns off and on all day and night even when no one is around it or moving around it, which is extremely annoying in the middle of the night. This has also caused the batteries to drain at a very excelerated rate. Yes, you can take the motion sensor out of this light but that does not work for me since it is on the ceiling and would be extremely inconvenient and unsafe to manually turn it off and on every time I got into my closet. While the idea behind this light is great, the motion sensor itself needs alot of work and alot of improvement.

Update: Worked great the first week I had it, but then it wouldn’t always come on. They sent me a replacement so I’m hoping I have better luck with this one. Loved it when it was working. If I could give it 10 stars I would. So glad I read the reviews and decided to purchase. I have a closet that didn’t have a light and it was so dark. I’ve tried cheap small lights but they weren’t very bright. I absolutely love this ceiling light. So much cheaper than hiring an electrician seeing as it’s only for a closet. It is so much brighter than I expected (see both photos with and without light). The love motion sensor. As soon as I open the door, the light comes on and it lights up my whole closet. Shuts off after 20 seconds which is perfect.
