I travel for work, and in order to make it dark enough in a hotel room to sleep you have to shut the room darkening blinds which is fine till you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom - but this thing is just perfect. Itโs a weird design with the switch being inside the cover (not really a fan of that) but it works well. Picks up motion and casts a nice gentle yellow glow, enough to see, but not enough to disrupt your sleep. Iโve been a big fan of Mr Beams for 8 years now, and have their other products throughout my house as our dog is afraid of the dark and she can now run through the house at night without problem (and her owners can too).

This is a great light. I did not realize this was a 750A. A stands for AMBER. It would be great for a night light in the dark, but I wanted a bright white light for my needs. I returned the Amber for the bright white light. The sensor is great and works well. I had one several years ago. It stopped working when I replaced the batteries and had nothing but a problem. Light would not shut off once on. Bought a new one ( bight white) and hoping this last for a few years.

This Mr. Beams Amber motion light works perfectly. I have it in the bathroom for nighttime visits and itโs not blinding at all. Enough lighting to see what youโre doing. The great thing about this particular light is that itโs mobile. Take it anywhere put it any place. Thatโs convenience!

Let's begin with I have already purchased multiple products in the Mr. Beams line and love them all. I am very sensitive to disruptions in my sleep cycle when I need to get up at night and I never turn on lights to avoid disrupting it when I wake up needing to go to the bathroom or to check on something. While this never has been a problem in the past, we recently adopted a sweet rescue dog who loves to sleep at the foot of our bed on the floor and blends into the carpet at night. I purchased this light after a NASTY fall over the dog one morning at 3am, I injured my knee and came out of it horribly battered and bruised and I distinctly remember as I was falling trying to fall clear of the dog because I was terrified I was going to hurt or injure her. While it took a while to get the light set to where it would trigger when I got out of bed but not if somebody rolled over or moved, this is just the ticket and I love this light! It really does not disrupt your sleep cycle, I can see clearly so I won't have a repeat fall over the dog and you can put it anywhere. I love my light so much I have purchased others as gifts for my mother, my sister and even an expecting Mom!

I use a walker and I have to use the bathroom numerous times during the night (translation, I'm old). I keep one on the bottom shelf of my nightstand and one on the the edge of the tub opposite my toilet. I have light the second I swing my leg off the bed and it lasts while I cross the room to my bath where the other one comes on when I enter. The light is bright enough for me to take care of business and return to bed safely without shocking me fully awake with glare. They have saved me from tripping over shoes or the corner of bedspread numerous times. The batteries last me 9 to 11 months, depending on the battery. Great product!!!

I have bought several of these over the years. Its great that it stands up, motion detector works, stays on an ample amount of time. Uses 4 AA batteries which do last awhile. Customer service was good as 1 stopped working but they sent me another one. The older ones seem to emit a "white" light while the newer ones seem to emit more of an "orange" light. I have several all over, so when I walk into a dark room, they come on quickly, to help me get to the bed.

I tried different batteries, pushing harder on the battery plate. One time it lit up briefly and stayed lit which defeats the motion detector option. I took batteries out reinstalled and never got it to light up again.
