So I had been looking at other manufactures with bigger names . I’m sure they are quality . I purchased this one because of the 8 bags . We have used it for 4 days at the beach on the Gulf of America. We have had a constant win of 15 with gusts in the area of 25. One thing to remember is this material is extremely stretchy and very strong. When you get it laid out stretch the sand bags a little taught then place the supports in. The supports , now matter how long or short you make them must always be straight up vertical . As you stretch the bags out further, you will need to adjust the supports to vertical. If your on sand then you need to stretch out the bags until they will not stretch any more ( they will not tear). Set them about a foot over from perpendicular then dig a hole in the sand , slide the bag over into it al the way around . Watch your poles so they don’t lay to the side because they are built for true vertical downward compression - if they aren’t straight they will bow and the strength is lost. It sounds a lot more daunting than what it is but after you set it up the first time you’ll understand. We remove / add sections in the morning and afternoon to account for the angle of the sun. We have to set it up every morning and take it down every evening. Ours has been staying put all day long while so many other people have been constantly fighting theirs. For the $70 we spent on it , it is awesome . If you have wind while you are assembling it will definitely take 2 people . Take your time and it will take about 20 minutes. It takes all of about 4 -5 minutes to take down. You don’t have a scissor frame you have to deal with nor the horrible tops they come with. It has done very well cutting the uv rays which I need and my ginger grandson . I ordered the dark blue because the darker the color the better the uv protection . We ended up getting the turquoise by accident but my wife liked it better so no big deal.

The canopy was easy to use. Held up nicely to the winds on the beach. I will pick up a larger shovel next time because the shovel is small. This will help shovel the sand in the bags faster. Also, I will purchase another duffle bag to store it in because the bag tore some the second day we used it. Not a big deal. Great for the price! Would purchase again!

Funcitionality was good. Weight was as expected not to heavy. size was large, value was great got in a 47.00. Now some people say that is is easy to put together. I feel like the instructions suck. If it was for a couple who had the same tent on the beach we would still be trying to figure it out. Stretch the tent out, put the poles together. fill the compartments attached to the tent fully with sand. the parts that have the draw string on them go over the pole and pull the drawstring. so put the pole at each corner of the tent under fabric and put the drawstring on it. the pouch that is attached is there so if you need to put items in like cellphones you can. pull the string that is also attached to the drawstring as far as you can and take yellow stake and screw into sand and put string around it and bury the stake with sand. This review should definitely assist if you buy. If instructions was better I would have given 5 stars. If the people who helped me was not there I would have returned the tent.

beach tent material seems to be good quality should last for many uses. takes up about half your carry on to take on beach vacations! easy to put up with two people, will be a little challenging for one person to put up. Everything fits well together and is good design.

Very disapointed with this beach tent canopy. The fabric is very thin and offers very little protection from the sun. You could see peoples shadows when they were under the canopy. Also noticed that the fabric was very stretchy, the footprint took some serious real state at the beach. We used it twice and the poles got rusty, they are metal not aluminum. I'm talking normal use, nothing extreme. Defenitely would not recomend it if you are planning to use it at the beach. The poles get broken into 20 separate pieces and takes a while to figure out wich one goes where when you try to set them up. My previous canopy had aluminum poles and where all tied togheter with a bungie cord that went thru each pole.

We received the tent today. The carrying bag was already torn & instead of 8 stakes, there were only 4. Tent seems to be ok. Tried uploading photos but it tells me there is an error. As long as the tent works, we can manage the other but to purchase something & instantly have to fix it is ridiculous.

Easy to set up with two people. Withstands winds on the beach without any issues. It does weigh 10 pounds, which is bulky to carry to the beach, but the steel poles are sturdy. I'm willing to lug this to the beach over a flimsy tent. Overall, this tent was better than I expected.
