Took it camping, to the beach at the lake. Pretty easy to setup, only took about 5-10 mins. And only really had to use 2 of the tie down strings, on the side with the wind. Its worth the buy if you only have a few people or small kids that need the shade. It was just me and the 2 kids. We liked it!

4 poles, good family size, snug initial fit. Our cabana is 8 years old and has endured the beach sun, camping rain, and countless uses. We are looking for a replacement with more air flow. This looks like a good choice. I added 8 aluminum ground hog tent stakes instead of the included Sheppard hooks. Stake it out first and it will go up easier. Poorly designed. Cheaply made. Hard to put up. Completely Useless in the Wind, Ripped Within 10 Minutes I need people to understand how bad this tent is before they waste their money. This lasted maybe 10 minutes before it ripped and was completely ruined. Not ten hours. Not ten days. Ten minutes. There was only a very slight breeze, nothing unusual for a beach, and the entire design immediately failed. The fabric tore and the structure collapsed. After about an hour of trying to deal with it, we threw it away because it was not even worth trying to save or repair. Honestly, it wasn’t even worth returning. I told Amazon the same thing — this is such a poorly designed product that sending it back felt pointless. The biggest issue is the design itself. It’s basically a parachute. If there is even the slightest bit of wind, it becomes completely unstable and useless. Whoever designed this clearly never tested it in actual beach conditions, which is kind of the entire point of a beach tent. Do not waste your money. Do not waste your time. Buy something else from a different company. Packaging included NO DIRECTIONS to set it up. No video links for tutorials either. ... show more

Great compact pop-up tent. We used it travelling to Cancun. The tent packed up weighs about 12 lb and fits in a suitcase. It doesn’t take long to set up the tent and we were able to fit two beach loungers under it. The tent if position correctly provides great shade. It is important to note that under the sail is not necessarily fully UV proof. But still provides great shade. Also, it could get a little warm under the tent, but other than that it is a great tent and I will be taking it on future trips since it’s so portable. ... show more

Super cute canopy. Definitely requires more than one person to assemble. Not very wind resistant. One section where the poles insert for the arch has already ripped. Only used twice, neither time was super windy.

Easy setup and pretty good in the wind. Not huge, but perfect for two...or one if you wanna stretch out and keep your stuff in. Extra ties can be used with plastic grocery bags filled with sand for extra stability in lots of wind. Glad I bought this. For the price, you cannot beat it!
