I've only received the box at this point. I have not had a chance to add my subs & amp yet. I just wanted to comment on the shipping & first thoughts. I'll updated this review once I can see it in action. Shipping was acceptable. It did have a tear in the cardboard where one of the holes for a sub is, but no damage to the box itself. All of the pieces are glued, making it more air tight. Can't tell what kind of screws they used... but it feels very sturdy. Measured the thickness of the material-- I was expecting 3/4" but it is a full 1" think (I don't remember it specifying in the description). Carpeting looks great. Only had once small piece of carpet I took a razor blade to on one of the sub holes (my OCD-like instinct more than anything). I've been running a single 15" Kicker CVX. I recently picked up a 2nd one, but obviously needed a new box to support two. As soon as I get time to install them both, I can't wait to see how loud even this pre-fab box will get! Running them both off of 1 Kicker ZX1000.1 for now. I may pick up a 2nd so they are both fully powered. For now though, 2 of them at half power is going to get me a LOT more surface area and sound. I'm sure I'll be VERY satisfied with this upgrade! =]

The box arrived first my 2nd sub was coming soon so i let the single sub box stay in the car. My sub arrived but i was on the road in and out of town for a several months. FINNALLY!!! a year and a half i got it installed 2 -15in 1200w fosgate sub 1200 w a RF prime at 2ohms for 3mths and then the worst happened it separated on the right front losing air with a rattling (vibrating wood) sound๐คข so i junked it. 2 stars for good looking and sounded great but if you pump up the bass then prepare to spend for another. Oh yeah packaging was FINE BUT the box was sealed POORLY.

First box came with a corner crushed from poor handling during shipping. Had to send it back and am waiting for a replacement. The construction was good. Box seemed good quality. Weighs in at 53 pounds. Just a slight bit under 40 inches wide. Carpet color was a dark color and a real good match to what is in my trunk all ready.

I read up reviews on the box like another reviewer did, unfortunately the box was too big for the trunk of my 03 Chevy Impala. Cost too much to send it back so I put it to the test anyway with a 15" Rockford P3 and it sounded bad when trying to hit the lows it's supposed to. Talked to Rockford customer service and they said the box NEEDS to be tuned to 32hz and have AT LEAST 2.66 ft^3 of airspace for each speaker, THIS box is tuned to 40hz and only gives each speaker 1.90 ft^3 of airspace. Best build a box specifically for the speaker than by a box made to fit all speakers. Also the dimensions listed in the details are INTERIOR DIMENSIONS not EXTERIOR.
