Who would have though such a small ottoman could pack such a punch? The detailed construction of our Siskal Ottoman is rounded out with black faux leather panels stitched together and pulled inward at their intersections, creating the allover tufted look. The ottoman features a wooden frame, foam padding, black fabric-lined bottom and black plastic feet. This style is also offered in red, white and dark brown (each sold separately). This ottoman is small, hollow and relatively lightweight but sturdy. Made in Malaysia; fully assembled. To clean, wipe with a dry cloth. Product dimension: 14.25"Wx14.25"Dx14.75"H.

I paid around $75 for the set with free Prime Shipping. They arrived 7 days after I placed the order. Although they appeared as if they were packaged just fine, one of them had a small tear that looks as if it got stabbed with a knife. I requested a replacement and since I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt (that this will be a smooth, hassle-free experience), I'll review the ottomans without taking this flaw into consideration. (Will update review if necessary.) UPDATE: I received a non-damaged replacement in a few days. :-) This is the 5th furniture piece I've purchased by Baxton Studio. I've learned that their products can be awesome OR highly disappointing. I find this one to be in the first category. FUNCTIONALITY | Not only are these ottomans pretty, they're also highly functional! They're one of the few furniture peices that I can trust my kids not to break. (LOL!) They're soft enough to be comfortable to sit on, yet firm enough to maintain shape when weight is applied to them. SIZE | I find the size to be perfect as an accent piece. The dimensions are ideal for placement in front of a couch or an armchair. They fill horizontal space nicely yet the height doesn't obstruct the vertical view. (They don't block the view of my favorite floor lamp.) NOTE: I wouldn't recommend buying this as a main furniture component (eg: Placing together as a coffee table/using for primary seating) unless you intend to place them in a very small room. They're probably too small to be a feature element. COLOR/DESIGN | The color is a TRUE white... It's not cream, beige, or eggshell, ect. In combination with the tufting, it gives them a very crisp, clean look. MATERIAL | The "leather-like" material is easy-to-clean. Most importantly, it does NOT look tacky. It seems to be of a decent quality and I expect them to hold up well with time. HEADS UP!!! These have legs on the bottom (I couldn't tell by the product description or pictures so I imagine that most people will be unaware of this as well). This results in static positioning so you can't just place them on any of the 4 sides... In other words: Only one of the sides can serve as the top. From my perspective (thinking down the road), this is a disadvantage as you won't be able to flip them to a new position in the event that one of the sides suffers damage. However, the advantage is that this design seems to improve the ottoman's stability. Overall, I find these ottomans to be worthy of the price. Great job Baxton Studio!

Reading some of the reviews I thought they were white. They are more of an off white, which is debatable, depending what you put them against. I purchased a white chair thinking these ottomans would match, they're a little off. However, they are very sturdy and well made. I removed the short legs for more detailed legs. The new legs added an extra inch off the floor. They're still a nice addition to the room.

The quality is very good, and they are so nice looking. Great foot stools or set them together at the end of the bed to sit when changing clothes and shoes. They look much more expensive than they are! Two drawbacks: 1.The fabric on the bottom, stapled there to keep out dust, debris and insects, is not large enough to cover properly. 2. The items are out in plastic bags for shipping, from Asia, but the bags are NOT SEALED. There was some questionable debris falling out of the bags when i unsealed the boxes. Bugs coming in on Asian products have been a problem recently- just look online to see! Products should be sanitized and carefully sealed up for shipping to this country, to prevent infestations. But these items are okay, I sprayed them down with 99% isopropyl alcohol before I set them up in my home

Wow; these are really great! I thought at this price they would be ok in the kids' room (which is what I bought them for) but that probably they'd look tacky anywhere else. Actually, I'm tempted to buy more for other areas of the house (like emergency casual seating in the living room), because they're that great & so chic! Packaged extremely well, too, which was important because they're white. They're pretty comfy, too, and they feel sturdy with adult weight. I got these to multi-task in the playroom: ottomans for the futon, "chairs" for child-size desk, and stools for jumping off into our big inflatable "jump-o-lene" without popping it due to brushing up against something with sharp edges. Perfect for all those tasks but much better-looking than I expected!

LOVE these ottomans! I ordered two last year, and have gotten so much use out of them. Sturdy - I use one as a "step stool" when needed. Versatile - use as a footstool, or as a table for when the grandchildren visit. Attractive - they go perfectly with my faux leather couch and decor.

For the price, these cubes are so fabulous looking. I ended up buying 2 sets so I have 4 cubes at home. I got the white color and it looks beautiful in my apartment. I had family and friends over and tons of people sitting on them and they still look brand new. As you can see in the pics I ended up adding some rhinestone BLING to the cubes because what girl doesn't need a little extra sparkle? They're wonderful in plain white but this was a super easy DIY. Very happy with my purchase! Only comment is these are a little hard to get out of the packaging at first - they are packed in TIGHT which is a good thing because they are well packed but a lot of tugging needed to get them out of the box. Otherwise, absolutely love them! I purchased this product with my own money.

Excellent addition to the matching couch (from another manufacturer). I simply purchased some legs that matched the ones that came on couch to further perfect the set. Not necessary to add legs though. Have owned for 2 months now and being that we have a 2 & 3 year old that play, eat, and jump from them, I can tell you that they are very durable. Not to mention, easy to clean with Clorox cleaner with bleach. Very happy with the purchase!
