This is a really great portable fan. It runs pretty quiet, it's very compact, and has plenty of power. the battery life is really good. We ran it several evenings all night long while sleeping on a single battery charge. There are adjustable fan speeds, and it has the ability to use a timer for auto-shutoff. I took away one star because I feel like the battery mount should be rotated 180 to allow the fan to tilt better. It still tilts, but it would tilt more if the batter were flipped.

This Vtuxcey battery powered fan totally surprised me with how much air it puts off. It’s great considering how small the unit is. I was expecting cheap plastic and crappy design but this portable fan is such great quality. I really like how it came with a regular power cord so you can use it like a normal fan and use it with a 20V battery as well. I have took it camping once and it definitely helped at night to keep us cool in the tent. I actually have been using it as a regular electric fan every night since I’ve got it. I really appreciate all the different settings and being able to set it to turn off after a couple hours. It’s perfect if you need a fan to fall asleep to but not run all night long. Overall I am very impressed with this fan and the amount of airflow it puts off. I would definitely recommend this if you camp a lot and are looking for a nice quality battery powered fan.

This portable fan is a smart buy if you’re already invested in the DeWalt 20V battery system. I’ve used it in a few different settings—garage projects, outdoor gatherings, and even during a recent power outage—and it’s proven to be both versatile and reliable. The ability to run it cordlessly with a DeWalt battery or plug it in with the included AC adapter is a major advantage. It gives you flexibility depending on whether you’re on a jobsite, camping, or just moving around the house. Performance-wise, the airflow is impressive for its size. The variable speed control is smooth and actually useful—you can dial it down for quiet indoor use or crank it up when you need serious circulation. The timer function is a nice touch, especially for overnight use or conserving battery life. Build quality feels solid and jobsite-ready, with a stable base that doesn’t tip easily. Battery life will depend on the amp-hour rating you’re using, but with a 5.0Ah battery I was able to get several hours on medium-high settings. A couple of minor notes: it doesn’t come with a battery, which is expected but worth mentioning, and it’s not whisper-quiet on the highest setting. That said, neither issue is a dealbreaker considering the overall performance and convenience. The fan has decent power for its size and it has plenty of settings and other good little features like the ability to plug it in or use a DeWalt battery. The stabilizers are also nice on the base because I was able to use a 12 amp hour battery and the thing didn't fall over. Size wise it is definitely easy to transport and it's a pretty quiet fan so I plan to use it more for camping than I do on the job site since I have a larger one for that.

When the temperatures begin to rise you we all want to cool off no matter where we happen to be. This easy to carry portable fan can cool you off both indoors and outdoors using variable power sources. This lightweight fan is available in four (4) different color coordinated options: blue for Makita batteries, red for Craftsman batteries, green for Ryobi, and yellow for DeWalt. Since my tool shed is fully equipped with DeWalt tools and batteries, I naturally went for the yellow/DeWalt option and that is what my review is based upon. The DeWalt model works with DeWalt 20V batteries, including models DCB206, DCB205, DCB204, DCB203, 60V Flex MAX Lithium-ion and compatible generic batteries. If you choose one of the other brand options, please check to make sure you have access to the proper battery type. When you choose to go with battery power, the battery slips easily into the back of the fan, behind the handle. Besides battery power, the fan can also be powered via AC and comes with its own adaptor. Makes is easy to move it around the house. Weighing it at just about 2 pounds, it’s easy to carry and transport both indoors and out. The fan works at three different speeds, easily adjusted via the clearly marked buttons on the front panel. Another helpful feature is the timer function for automatic turnoff. You can easily set the time at either 1, 2, or 4 hour intervals via the easy to read display at the base of the fan. I’ve timed all three options and they are accurate to the minute. The back of the fan includes a handy handle for easy carrying and it can also be used as a sort of hook to hang the fan where you need it most. The product description promotes the “quiet” 30 decibel noise level. I wouldn’t dispute the amount of decibels but I’m not entirely on board with describing it as “quiet.” It’s not unusually noisy but, as you can hear in the attached video, I am not comfortable describing it as “quiet.” Of course, if you’re using it outdoors, it likely won’t bother you at all. If you’re a camper, a beach goer, or work in any non-air-conditioned indoor space, this is a relatively affordable way to cool off. If you like to sit around your swimming pool without sweating in the summer sun, this is a great way to get some added breeze.

I’ve been using this fan with my Dewalt 20V batteries and it works great for jobsite, garage, or camping. It has multiple speed settings plus a timer so I can set it and forget it. The airflow is surprisingly strong for its size and it runs for hours on a good battery without dying. It’s fairly lightweight, tilts easily to point where I need it, and the clip or stand options make it versatile. No cords to deal with is a huge plus. Quiet enough for indoor use too. If you need portable cooling that actually moves air, this one is solid and worth it. I keep it in the truck now.
