To say this sprayer is going to change our lives may seem like an overstatement but this is the first battery-powered garden sprayer we’ve owned for our 14-acre property in 42 years of marriage. I have spent more time and effort than I want to admit pumping up garden sprayers. And then, when finished, trying to avoid a faceful of toxic mist when opening the sprayer for cleaning. No more, thanks to the SideKing Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer. The sprayer comes with an assembly instruction booklet and, for visual learners, a link to an assembly video. My husband did not avail himself of either and had no problem putting the sprayer together. I found the design of this sprayer very well engineered. There is a plastic measuring cup that stows in the lid and not one, but two filters to keep debris from clogging up the nozzle. One filter fits in the top opening to stop any debris from entering the tank when filling and a second filter fits over the intake tube to stop any debris in the tank from entering the wand and nozzle. What a fabulous failsafe – no more disassembling and clearing nozzles dripping with pesticides. The sprayer is made of a very thick opaque plastic that has metric and imperial measurements on the side along a transparent strip to allow one to view the fluid level. Metric measurements are clearly marked in liters but one has to eyeball common imperial measurements such as a gallon (128 ounces) since the imperial measurements are in 60-ounce increments. The sprayer comes with a USB-C charging cable and it took less than an hour to fully charge thanks to a partial charge from the manufacturer. We used the sprayer for about an hour in our garden and when we plugged it back in to recharge, it still had 2/3 of a charge on the battery indicator so the manufacturer’s claim of a three-hour run time appears to be accurate. Once assembled, the choice of nozzle was a quandary. The sprayer comes with five different nozzles and we consulted the online listing to discern the differences in spray patterns. We were spraying our trellised cucumber plants so we chose the F-nozzle to provide extremely thorough coverage on both the top and underside of the leaves. We only mixed up one gallon of spray so we chose to carry the sprayer by its handle rather than use the straps as a backpack. All one has to do to spray is depress the on/off button and the sprayer turns on and runs until one hits the button again to stop it. There is even a speed button to increase the volume of spray to three different levels. When we were done, the plants were dripping wet. This was the fastest, easiest spraying we’ve ever done which was great because the heat index was 111°F. Then the biggest revelation regarding battery-operated sprayers: the cleaning. Since they don’t pressurize the tank but instead pump the contents, there was no having to depressurize the tank prior to cleaning. Just stop spraying and untwist the lid. No hissing cloud of toxic vapors. And cleaning is so simple; simply fill with clean water and press the button to start. After about a minute, press the button to stop and dump out excess water. No more pumping up sprayers, depressurizing the tank and worrying about a clogged nozzle. This is truly a remarkable upgrade for our gardening needs. This sprayer was a great buy at the time we ordered it but at the time of review, there is a 30% coupon making it an even better buy. I’ve already ordered a second one to use for herbicides only. Go ahead, up you gardening game with a rechargeable sprayer and spend more time enjoying life.

My back often hurts, so I got the SideKing Backpack Sprayer to water my plants and clean outdoors without bending over. While carrying a bag on my back, it's a relief compared to constantly bending down. I've been using this sprayer for both my indoor and outdoor plants, as well as for cleaning tasks. This sprayer is super easy to use and came with clear, straightforward instructions. I had no trouble assembling the pieces. I was initially worried about making a mess or accidentally spraying other things while watering my indoor plants, but that wasn't an issue at all—it made the process so much easier. Living in an apartment with a small fenced area that a hose can't reach has been frustrating. Using a bucket of water wasn't effective enough for cleaning, so this backpack sprayer was the perfect solution! The hose is long enough to hold comfortably, and it's powerful enough to clean my stairs and pavement, keeping everything looking nice while saving me from bending over. The rechargeable feature is a huge plus, sparing me from constantly buying batteries. It even lets you know when it needs charging before shutting off! This high-quality garden sprayer has been a game-changer for me, and I'm thrilled to have it.

For me this item sits right in the middle Pros: It feels like it is made from solid material. It was fairly easy to charge as the handle is where the USB C charge cable goes. It did come with all of its parts and the instructions were easy to follow. Cons: it sputters when I use it to spray even thought everything has been put together properly and the water tube is fully submerged. It's pretty loud when your spraying your plants with it. The backpack straps are uncomfortable no matter how I adjust them.

I loved this watering backpack so much. It was easy to put together and carries a little over 2.5 gallons. It comes with several different spray nozzle types. The sprayer part charges and comes with very short a usb-c changing cord. The spray has 3 different settings. The sprayer makes watering and fertilizing my outdoor plants very easy. However, I have even more indoor plants. Unfortunately, the sprayer is overkill for them. The sprayer is wide enough that even on the lowest setting, I would be spraying the walls, my furniture, and everything if I used it in the house. I was hoping one of the nozzles of settings were a lot lower, more akin to a pouring capacity, but none of them are. But this is not enough for me to remove a star, considering how useful it had proven to be for my outdoor plants. The best part is that my teenage boys enjoy using it since it's so easy. I think it's a fabulous value for the price. It seems very durable and I am extremely happy with this purchase.

This is such a handy sprayer! It has straps where you can wear this as a backpack so even when it’s filled I can still carry it around with me easily. It charges via USB-C cable quickly. The USB-C cable was included but a charging block wasn’t so keep that in mind. This wasn’t a problem for me as I have extras and I assume most people do too. It came with a variety of nozzles and there are 3 pressure levels so this sprayer is sure to meet your needs. I have only used one nozzle so far, and it was perfect for spraying an even covering of neem oil on my plants. The wand was easy to extend and adjust to the right size. My neighbor said that this would be great to use with just water to reach plants that are hanging in baskets high off the ground. This is so handy and a great value.
