Tl;dr: you can mount these on the ceiling behind some curtains to mimic daylight. My purpose for this light was a little different than what most people use it for, and it still worked! My wife and I get pretty intense seasonal depression during the winter, and our bedroom gets no natural light (north facing). So I got 2 of these sconces and 2 ceiling-mounted curtain tracks. (I considered using a double curtain track but couldn't find any with enough space between them for the sconce bases.) We hung up sheer curtains on the front track and light-filtering linen curtains on the back track - yes I know that's unorthodox but bear with me - and we mounted the sconces to the ceiling end-to-end between the tracks. The remote controls make controlling the light settings super easy, and they offer the perfect amount of light through the sheer curtains to give the illusion of soft daylight. When the sun comes up at almost 10:00 and goes down at 16:00, this is the next best thing and has helped our moods and circadian rhythms a lot. They're also easy to recharge, even mounted on the ceiling. Because the sconces are magnetic and the bases are metal plates, all we have to do if we want to take them down is reach up from a step stool (or, knowing my wife, probably standing on the bed) and grab them. Yes, the magnets are strong enough to keep them from falling. We could also use some 10 foot USB-C cables and run them up from the outlet by the window, up past the window frame and along the back curtain track, and leave them plugged in. But sometimes over-charging can decrease the lifespan of rechargeable batteries so we're opting for removal and recharging overnight. They don't take that long to charge but it's most convenient. Luckily these lights last a pretty decent amount of time. I'd say maybe 11, 12 hours on max brightness? We only had them on for 1-2 hours each morning and evening during the darkest parts of winter, so we only had to charge them once every 5-6 days. Overall this is easily one of the best additions to our home. It's a small thing but it makes a world of a difference. And it hasn't raised our energy bill noticeably. I'm guessing a full charge is equivalent to charging my phone. Super easy and affordable solution to what would otherwise be a pretty depressing season for us. I'd highly recommend these lights (especially with the ceiling-mounted curtains combo) for anyone else who deals with the same issue. 10/10 would repurchase.

The media could not be loaded. I love these lights - they are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a couple rechargeable sconces to go on each side of my tv. For the first month they were great - this is the basement tv room, so they don’t get used a whole lot. I’ve recharged them a couple times and they continued to work perfectly. Unfortunately, now about 2 months later 1 of them has started to malfunction - or I somehow turned on some weird setting. You turn it on and it is bright like it should be, but then after about 3 seconds it dims way down to like the lowest dim setting. You can hit the button to increase the brightness - and it does - but again after a few seconds it dims back down. They are fully charged - and the other one works perfectly. Hoping to figure out what is going on with this one.

I put this wall light in a spot where I wanted extra light but had no outlet nearby, and it ended up being one of those small upgrades that makes the room feel more finished. Installation was simple with the adhesive mount, and not having to run wires or call an electrician was the biggest win for me. I’ve moved it once already and liked that I wasn’t committed to one location forever. If you rent or just change your layout often, that flexibility is really useful. What I use most is the adjustability. You can rotate the light heads on each side, so I can aim one toward the reading chair and one toward artwork on the wall. The remote works well from across the room, and dimming is smooth enough to use it as either accent lighting at night or brighter task light when I need it. USB recharging has been convenient too. I usually top it up every few days depending on brightness level, and I like that I’m not replacing batteries. The one thing I didn’t fully love is the fixture finish. It’s not bad at all, but I was hoping for a cleaner, more modern look in person. From a distance it looks nice, but up close it doesn’t feel as premium as the rest of my decor. That said, functionally it does exactly what I wanted: easy placement, no hardwiring, adjustable direction, and dependable light for everyday use. For anyone needing a practical wall light without doing electrical work, this is a solid pick.

Each manufactured batch may produce a different performance, however, the purchase I made November 2025 was a dud. They will not charge even though it’s making connection as the blue light is illuminated on the sconce when plugged into electricity. I contacted Amazon CS and they were unable to remedy the complaint as I was out of the country. I purchased these lights for my bed and breakfast property there. They assured me Amazon would not leave me hanging, and for me to call when I am stateside. I would not recommend based on my experience with this product. I was so excited to display!

I am loving this modern bedroom light fixture! Very easy install! I love its slim fit that leaves you plenty of options for hanging! Will be perfect anywhere! Would look especially well in closets, bathrooms and bedroom! The materials used seem sturdy and I expect they will last a long time! I love how it came immediately ready to hang! No piecing a zillion parts together! I also LOVE that this is battery run!! No need to have electrical experience and you’re not stuck with where you can place it like wall sockets or light mounts with wiring. The ability to change the color brightness is also wonderful and makes it perfect for different locations and purposes!!
