After a week I'm loving them. These are elegant and beautiful. The glass is thick and they are sorta heavy, high quality - not cheap and flimsy. The bulb does not flicker but it gives off a nice, warm light that still feels like it's a lit candle. I have it set to turn on automatically at 8pm and it goes off 6 hours later automatically so I don't need to think about it. Gives my living room such a nice ambience at night. I'm likely to order more for other rooms. But I'm holding off until I see how long the AAA batteries last running 6 hours a day. I'm a little skeptical about that, but I still really love them. And if need be I just won't run them every single day. Also, I hope the bulb lasts because I'm not sure how to buy a replacement. ... show more

These are so beautiful!! My friend received a pair of these for Christmas and when I saw them, I knew I had to have a set. They are high quality, heavy glass with a total retro feel. They have a 6 hour time with auto shut off or the on/off option. These are beautiful in a bathroom, bedroom or actually anywhere in the house. I am very sensitive to candles so I cannot have them in my house, but I do love the glow, so These are the perfect alternative! They display such a pretty patern through the warm styled glass. I much prefer warm white lighting over cool white that is why I chose the amber colored glass. These definitely do not disappoint.
