This is a great basketball goal for kids & teens. The directions were clear, and all the necessary hardware was included. Assembly took about 30 to 45 minutes with both me & my husband, and it was straightforward. The height adjusts easily, with settings from 3 to 9 feet. For shorter heights, you can remove entire sections of the post with just one bolt & a support screw. For smaller adjustments, there are 18 height settings, spaced half a foot apart. The hoop & backboard are sturdy. The rim is a standard 16", though the backboard is a bit smaller than regulation. It's not a dealbreaker for us, but more serious players might care to notice. I appreciate that it's portable & easy to roll around, which is key for us since our driveway is on a hill. Our kids prefer playing at the bottom where it's level or at the edge of the street (we live at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there's no through traffic). Our city recently passed a law banning permanent or "long-term" placement of basketball goals near the street. This setup is perfect since our boys can roll it back to the driveway when they're done. The base needs to be weighted down with water, gravel, or sand. I recommend the heavier options if you’re using the taller settings, as it tends to lean forward. We tested it with water first, but at the tallest height, it felt a bit wobbly, so we switched to sand. It’s now heavy enough to stay stable, yet light enough for our boys to move. I love that this goal grows with your kids. We've gone through several over the years, starting with the plastic Little Tikes one when our boys were toddlers. An adjustable goal like this would’ve been much more practical back then. Now, as a teen & pre-teen, they can both enjoy playing on this goal at a height they're comfortable with. Overall, I’m very happy with this basketball goal. The base could be a bit larger for added stability, but that can easily be solved with extra sandbags or whatever you have on hand. It's a great option for little ones learning the game or teens perfecting their skills. My husband & I have even enjoyed a few games ourselves 😄. ... show more

We wanted my nephews (9 and 12) to spend more time outdoors, so we purchased this basketball hoop for them. It is a great size for younger kids. They have really enjoyed it! I like that it was very easy to set up and it is lightweight. We used a sandbag to hold the basketball hoop down so that it did not tilt forward and that is working fine. This is an awesome product. Not only is it a high quality hoop, it's also extremely affordable. I have been impressed by it's regulation size backboard- I would have expected most budget basketball hoops to have a smaller board, especially when they are made to go so short. Speaking of short, the wide range of heights this thing is capable of is awesome- good for kids to adults and everyone in-between of all abilities! The materials it's made from are sturdy and it's very stable once the base is filled with sand or water. The kids that play with this where I set it up have been loving it. Theyve all had fairly traumatic experiences in the recent past and having something for them to play with and get there mind off of life and their bodies moving is great therapy and it really warms my heart to witness. 5/5 stars for sure. ... show more
