I received this basketball goal and the box was damaged. Resulting in the backboard being broken. The poles, frame and base seem to be of good quality. Customer service was great to work with and shipped a new backboard.

The basketball hoop quality is excellent. It’s super sturdy and well designed. And the customer service was outstanding. When I had a problem (not with the construction of the basketball hoop itself) but with a tall delivery truck that came by too close to the curb and hit the rim that was protruding slightly into the street. I called IGL and spoke with Ane who indicated that because the rim was still in the warranty period she would send me a new rim right away at no cost! First, a quick review of the product. It's well made (with very solid materials), looks great, and came at a terrific price for the quality. It looks like a legit glass backboard...even though it's not actually glass. It's a nice size, and I love that I can easily raise and lower it. Now, the instructions show 2 methods for filling the base. One with sand (which they note is strongly recommended) and one with water. Ya boy didn't have 300lbs of sand laying around, so I rolled the dice and went with water. BAD MOVE. It blew over in a strong wind and bent up the rim. I reached out to the company to see if I could buy a replacement rim, and they got back to me right away sent me a new one FOR FREE!! (Which I know is like a $50 value because I was looking at buying one elsewhere.) That's what I call customer service!!! I would definitely buy another product from them in the future!! ... show more
