After we placed our order, there was a shipping issue, and both Amazon and FedEx updates were vague. I contacted the seller and they already had all the information, and stated that the original shipment had been damaged, and they had another on the way and provided me with tracking. We were only delayed our original delivery date by a couple days. The hoop itself went together very easily and the directions were clear. It seems to be sturdy and well constructed. We used 5+ bags pea gravel instead of sand or water in the base, and it's very stable. The hoop has been getting use for a week straight now by our kids and they absolutely love it. One minor thing I'll note is that the crank mechanism is a little slow to adjust the height up and down, but it does work well and is easy to adjust in either direction.

Ordered this hoop 3 days ago, it arrived so fast. My husband and 15 year old son built it in about 2 hours tonight. They said directions were fine. Not amazing, but not terrible. The hoop is awesome. We filled with water and put 2 sand bags on top. We will always keep it at 10 feet high since our kids are older. It seems pretty stable. Size is great. We are really happy with it and hoping it lasts for 3-5 years if we store it in the garage during the winter and high wind storms that we sometimes have. Recommend this hoop! Wait for a good sale, they come around!

Pretty happy for the price. It's definitely twice as good as our previous hoop that was half the price. Seems quite sturdy, good directions (for once), great wheels - way wider and easier rolling than the cheap ones! I'd say only negative is i wish the backboard was a bit thicker. Again, its better than the cheapest but thats what keeps it from a 5 star. Guess that would make it a $500+ hoop. Speaking of hoop itself - phenomenal! Great thickness, great springs make for sturdy bounce. I'm overall very happy.

Before buying I read many of the reviews, both good and bad. I learned from other people's mistakes when assembling the hoop and took some advice from others that had success. After a lot of research of many other types of set-ups, I felt that this was the choice for me and my family, which includes both adults and 6- and 8-year-old boys. I will say that this was the best decision, great product, easy to assemble, move around, and very user friendly. The boys love it, and me too. To help you with deciding to purchase or not, I have listed my process when it arrived. The boys wanted to assemble it quickly due to their excitement, but I wanted to do it only once and not have to take it apart and re-assemble due to rushing the job. First, inspect the shipping box when received; delivery companies sometimes can be rough and I had a couple of large holes in the box. I took pictures before opening to ensure if there was damage or missing parts that I had photos to back my claim. Next, read the directions BEFORE assembling! I recommend to read it 2-3 times. This includes making an inventory of all components/parts to ensure you received everything, which I did. Next, WATCH the assembling video on Amazon’s website, extremely helpful! I almost made a mistake but the video confirmed where some parts went. In fact, I watched the video 3 times, only 9 minutes in length, but extremely invaluable. I also followed their recommendations, from the instructions, to use a sawhorse during the process, very helpful, and I had another person assisting. We opted to use sandbox sand from Lowes since we live in the Northeast, we didn’t want the water option to freeze and crack the plastic base. All in all, great product, I highly recommend it.
