Great hoop. Brought this for my little one as he is now learning to play basketball. Hoop looks really good and looks high-quality. It was easy to assemble, hubby put it together in less than an hour and didn't even ask for my help. Love the different heights on it as my little one joined a team, and they play on a regulation court, so we have him practicing on the 10-foot height. Very Sturdy and very stable. We added water into the base (didn't have sand and I'm cheap). We had some extra bags of swimming pool salt, so he set it on top of the base for extra weight. He and my little played, and it was very steady, did not sway or move. Great purchase and great price.

The stability is ok. The backboard does wobble quite a bit especially when banking shots. I’ll update the comment and make a video sometime later so you can see for yourself, but I promise you can take my word. Anyways, this is a decent hoop for the price. Probably not gonna find anything more durable or stable than this for a similar price. Unfortunately you would just have to spend more money. I personally wasn’t splurging today and got this. it still helps me practice; I can still make shots, and I can get better at my layups n stuff. I wish there were more reviews for this particular hoop…… Also the height adjustment works good. It goes to 10 feet. And if you’re really short, or buying this for a very young kid, you can build it with only 2 main poles and it goes down all the way to 4.8, according to manufacturer. I personally need it to be 10, so 3 poles used for me, since I’m trying to actually get better when playing at any regular b ball court. Oh, and I was able to put it together all by myself in about an hour and a half. It says it requires, and I quote, “2 capable adults” but I was like nah I don’t got that. So I was able to do it myself. I will say it probably would have been nice to have a partner, but I just used a table outside to have something to set the backboard on while I put the rim on. PLEASE make sure that you read the instructions carefully as not to miss anything or make any mistakes in how the parts go together. I almost messed up myself Honestly, I would either get this one, or buy the hoops from life time. Those hoops are probably much better than anything else. Yes I know they cost more money. Yes I know some of the cheaper ones only have a telescoping pole to adjust height. But sometimes that’s what happens when we try to be cheap. You get cheap. Yes, including me…… To summarize: this hoop is decent for the price. Do I recommend??? Ehh, maybe… the backboard wobbles quite a bit especially when banking shots. BUT it is cheap, only 200, compared to like a 300+ dollar hoop. So what I do recommend is, if by any means possible , save more of ur money and get a more expensive hoop, if you want a really stable hoop. If you think you won’t, or you don’t, care about it, then yes get this hoop.

the hoop was easy to assemble and looks great, however whenever you hit the rim or backboard there is a harsh rattling sound inside the pole that adjusts the height. it must be some sort of cable that is loose and hitting the inside of the pole when the hoop is hit.

My 10 year old loves this basketball goal. I had someone else put it together for me though. It is very easy to adjust the height of the goal. & it’s pretty sturdy. It has fell over a few a times from the windy(my fault for not putting enough sand in the back of it) but it hasn’t broke from falling!

Wow, this is so much nicer than the one we bought for about the same price here four years ago. The hardware is heftier, deeper threads, and no stripping. The backboard looks nice in front of the house, too, not tacky. Def needs two or more people post puberty for assembly, but not difficult. Just need extra hands. Recommend setting up a card table to assemble rear of backboard.
