Poor company service. No support telephone numbers only email. Receive defective Rack with missing screws and no threads in bars so could not assemble. Final was able to contact seller and the set me a return label "Not Prepaid". The shipping cost as much as the item over $400 USD. No guarantee of being reimbursed. Would not get the $400 back for sure. But a claim thru Amazon but after 3 weeks and many unexplained claim cancelled by Amazon finally today they just refused the claim again without an explanation. I ordered the roof rack and basket and is extremely happy with my purchase. All the parts came with my purchase it takes awhile to install so you have to have patience. It looks great. The only con that I have is that basket raddled a bit put I solve the problem by adding additional tie down clamps which are not included. ... show more

Great looking basket! I only had a few issues. 1st issue is that the cross members are pretty loose. so they rattle around a little. Obviously the holes are to big and the cross bars have movement in them. 2nd issue was the alignment of the cross bars onto the roof rack, I had to drill new holes in the rack to fit the basket mounting u-bolts. not a big deal. The fix i used was that i took some foam pieces and filled the gaps in the cross members that made them solid and didn't rattle. another thing that should come with this rack is some kind of front wind deflector. There is some wind noise from the basket, and obviously a little more drag. ... show more

I got this to go along with the 'matching' Barricade roof rack. First off...it doesn't match. The rack has glossy paint, this basket has matte paint. Minor vanity point, but still. Second, installation was a challenge. Not all of the screw holes (and there are a lot) aligned properly, leaving some screw heads stuck up at an angle, even though I loosely installed them all before tightening. Installing it to the rack was straightforward, but the u-bolts and plastic screws just scream cheap, plus they don't line up well with the rack either. Lastly, although I expected wind noise, this thing squeaks like crazy, just like the rack it's mounted on. Annoying as heck. Overall, it's a stable, capable basket that held up on a cross country trip, but in hindsight I wouldn't get it for a daily driver. An air deflector would be a huge plus, but that's not going to help the squeaks. ... show more

Made in china. The tubing is 1/8" thickness, the screws stripped out during assembly. I don't think it's worth 450 dollars . Lesson learned.

    • False Advertising and Poor Customer Service!

Make sure to order the whole rack. The pictures are very misleading! You will need to purchase side bar mounts and the rack to hold the basket. This purchase is only for the basket! And then you have to buy more or pay to ship it back after a bunch of phone calls. Extreme terrain wouldn't even give me the curtousy of a phone call. The material in person is yuck! It looks cheap and weak in person! All jeep owners want a beefy looking roof rack! I was very disappointed with my purchase...and now I have to send it back within a small time window. DO NOT BUY THIS!! ... show more

Soooo , after reading reviews I felt there would be a simple solution to the cross bar noise. I was right . I decided once the build was complete (which btw was crazy easy), that I was going to secure the cross bars by installing a black self tapping screw to each of them. PROBLEM SOLVED . Zero rattling and not to mention it makes the hole basket stronger ! I give this product 4 stars because of the design flaw (non securing cross bars, very loose) . But other than that this basket is perfect for over-landing !!! Very heavy duty . ... show more
