My autistic grandson sleeps with this blanket. Since I purchased it, he has been sleeping all night long without interruption. His teen sister also will sleep with it, when her brother lets her. She says the blanket helps her to sleep more comfortably too. This blanket is well made. I wash it in cold water, and are stain resistant (spilled red juice came out easy). I hand dry it on the backs of 2 dinning room chairs. The material retains it softness no matter how much it is handled, washed, or slept on. I will definitely be ordering another one of these blankets for my granddaughter too.

I have another weighted blanket that fits a double mattress. It’s too big and bulky. I went with this size and weight so it just fits on me. It’s perfect for watching tv in the recliner and sleeping in bed. Weight is nice too - and helps with my anxiety issues. IYKYK

I like how this helps me sleep. It is a little heavier than I expected. I got the #20 per the size chart. I think the #15 would have been better suitable for me. I the purple which is the colour I got. I machine washed and dried when I got it and it held up well. I tried and couldn’t get a duvet cover over it to keep it cleaner longer. One negative, there was a tear along the binding. It didn’t go into the pocket for the sand and I was able to mend it. It looked more as if the end of the binding was used and it was unraveling. It’s worth the money even with the mending I had to do.

Ok, first off, I do love this blanket and I think it's very important to get the one that's safe for your body weight and health. Please read the medical information regarding those with heart issues, poor circulation etc. You shouldn't buy one if you have these medical issues. If you only weigh 120 pounds soaking wet, then buying a 75 pound blanket is going to destroy you!!! So, buy for your body size. This blanket feels amazing wrapped around you. The glass beads inside, you can't feel or hear so that's nice! When washing it, you will be able to use a dryer but remember that this blanket, when it's wet, feels like your carrying a house! It's nice and warm and my hubby and I just survived the ice storm in Oregon and all i needed on my side of the bed is this blanket. And we live in a travel trailer as well! All in all, I think anyone who wants to get a better night's sleep and feel rested the next day, should get one of these snuggly blankets! Thanks for reading! I hope this helps you!!

This is my first weighted blanket, and I don't think I can ever go back (not sure what I'm going to do during the warmer months). The one I have is throw blanket sized, but it serves as a fine top layer when I sleep. I like the weight of the blanket, and it is evenly distributed and does not bunch up. It does make it warmer during the night, so it has been great during the colder months. I like that there are little tabs sew along the edges so you can hang up the blanket to air dry after washing.
