  • Slow but steady growth!
Shipping was fast, well packaged and ready to transplant. I have it in a 3 gallon pot. Got my first little cherry about 3 months in. Flowers look great. Its doing well in the harsh tropical rainforest fill of year round pests, molds and mildews. Sadly the fruit fell off the moment I moved the plant. I'm growing it outside undercovering from constant rain. Using bokashi compost and roots organics solid nutrients. I will update in the coming months. ... show more

  • Larger than expected!
The Cherry Barbarbos was sixteen to eighteen inches tall in a tiny three inch pot. So far this receives five stars even the the pot was a little dry. I immediately transplanted it in the a three gallon pot. Now I have to wait and see if it survived the cold from USPS. The picture all the way to the left is the Cherry Barbarbos. As you can see it quite large. I only had it about seven days in this picture. There in three gallon pots. ... show more

  • Healthy but no flowers
The tree is exactly what I am looking for my bonsai set up. I came very healthy but doesn't have flowers as the picture shown. I hope it had flowers so I it can produce fruits soon. It's expensive with the shipping fee, for a very easy to grow tree. I grew up with this tree in my grandma's garden so it's a joy to have a mini one for my miniature garden :) ... show more

  • Cutest Tree!
Cutest fruit I’ve ever owned. Fruit growing by stage and can’t wait to eat it! My one and only fruit!

  • Recieved a stem of leaves with roots in a plastic small bag!!! 😓😒
I recieved a stem of leaves with roots in a little bag! See picture!! I thought per description that the plant came in a 4” pot. It came wrapped in a small plastic bag. For $14 I would’ve rather pay to buy the seeds and germinate. Very dissatisfied with product. Lets see how it will grow in a couple of month. I wish i received the same as advertised. ... show more

  • Beautiful little tree
Came in shock, lost some leaves, but really bounced back and made a beautiful little bonsai. Bloomed within a week or two and now is growing great under a grow light! Would definitely buy from this seller again.. great customer support as well.

  • Came Without Plant Pot
This item was advertised as being sold with a 4 inch plant pot but did not arrive with one. The plant did not look as it did in the advertised photo but instead arrived in the form of a long branch with no blossoms on it. This plant did not have a single branch on it. I think it is going to grow as a single long stalk. I had to spend an extra $30 plus just to purchase some top soil and a plant pot from a local hardware store because the plant came in a cardboard box with plastic wrap around its root embedded in a tiny bit of soil. I am not pleased with this purchase. I am hoping it will branch out and blossom soon so I can feel comfortable with my purchase. ... show more

  • Great Nursery!!
I've ordered from hirts 3 times. I think about 15 different live plants, shrubs, and trees, not including tons of strawberries.. All except one has survived, and that was my own fault. I just want to say that they are awesome. Everything pretty much came bigger than expected. Despite all their bad reviews I've never had a problem. I think some people have bad experiences maybe as a result of little experience. Timing is everything when ordering plants. This cherry shrub was bought mid spring! Nice and cool air to ship in. Location is a huge factor. This nursery is only a couple states away from me. They really get your order out quick. I feel the care after plants have arrived is the most critical component in their survival after leaving the nursery. And all these people expecting fruit to start producing the month they bought it, it will not happen. This isn't corn and potatoes. Patience seems to be a commodity now. I can't post my photo but I have about 20 blossoms. Within a few months of being transplanted ... show more
