These bar stools are pretty good. There wide enough to be comfortable and not feel like you're going to fall off of it. Sometimes, if a stool is too skinny, I feel like I might fall off of it. This has a pretty wide seat, so it feels good to sit on. I knocked off a star though because the edges and corners are kind of sharp, so if your legs hand off or if you bump into a corner, it will leave lines on your legs or you could possibly hurt yourself if you run into the pointy corner. Another thing that made me knock the star off is because when I built the stools, no mattress what I did, the stool sits a little uneven, so it rocks back and forth. When you sit on it, it's fine, but when there is no weight on the stool, it rocks back and forth a little. Overall though, it feels sturdy when being sat on. I just did not like the build process and the fact that the stool is not lined up well and so it rocks. It does looks nice as far as looks go though.

No. Just No. These are not at all what we expected when we ordered these bar stools. These are cheap, cheap, cheap. The seat is NOT solid wood but a lightweight material (fiberboard, maybe?) with wood grain contact paper on them that was peeling off before even touching them. The metal is very thin, and I would be concerned about a larger adult sitting on them. The assembly was also challenging as the hardware was subpar and difficult to work with. They are also much shorter than expected and not usable as a counter-height stool. These were supposed to go in our farm stay cabin, but I would be embarrassed if a guest saw them.

These are poor quality. I had approximately 16 screws that I know cross threaded because the holes weren't drilled properly, which is a little less than half the total screws. I don't expect these to last a year. The seat is poor quality. They're uncomfortable. I *thought* I would bring them out to my garage before they arrived to use out there. As soon as I opened the box I decided they wouldn't last a month in the garage. One humid day and they're going to be warped. I gave them an extra star because they were fairly easy to assemble. The directions were clear and easy to follow.

I was duly impressed at how compact this package was, and that translates to a bit of screwing on my part. I did expect this, as you might when you order furniture to be delivered through the mail, and the assembly was very straightforward. Once it was put together, I like the look of these and they fit the dimensions I was expecting, so it sits neatly under my breakfast bar for a quick spot to eat. If you're looking for something to use daily and support more than 200 lbs, I would look for something sturdier. If you're looking for something that will see occasional use and you really want it to look good, this is your thing. From a distance, you would never know that the wood is a veneer and the shape is pleasing to the eye. I plan to put my second one in the shed for use occasionally when we are away from the house and need a seat to do some work. For my purposes, these are well fitted and excellent quality. I would not recommend using them in the elements or somewhere they'll get wet, and a nice addition could be leveling feet, but as they are they'll serve their purpose well at my house and I would order them again.

First, don't expect this to be some wrought iron solid hardwood blah blah. You are paying about $25 per stool. That said, these are super nice for the price. It is made of hollow square tubes that are screwed together (instead of cheap plastic clips.) The barstools are super easy to assemble in a few minutes. The top is sturdy and comfortable, and the whole stool feels stable in use. They make a great, lightweight addition to our kitchen.
