Update2: The seller had the manufacturer thoroughly test the heater and it was only the initial plug in that caused it to be on the highest setting and highest wattage. It does have a memory setting that works after a long power outage(I had it on low wattage at 70degrees. It came on to that setting after about 16hrs). I will keep since the cord doesn’t get hot like the original I bought, and there are more safety features. The remote is better too. And the seller was fantastic! ——————— Original review: Turns on when you plug it in - highest temp, highest wattage. Maybe I got a defective but the seller said that would not happen. Returning. I will say the tip over safety works. I unpackaged and plugged it in. Thrilled it didn’t turn on but realized I had it leaning a little. Straightened it and it turned on high heat immediately without touching any buttons. Unplugged immediately. I have a previous generation w/out WiFi/app support and it does the same thing. During power outages, this heater turns on automatically when the power comes back at highest heat and wattage. This was supposed to replace that fire hazard heater but it does the same thing so it will be returned. Didn’t leave it on long enough to see if the plug in part gets really hot like the one I have either. Didn’t bother to test the app. It’s a real bummer since I do really like this heater; keeps my room warm. But in my small room, in an older mobile home, not worth the fire hazard risk. Update: seller did respond, confirmed with manufacturer, and clarify initial plug in is the only time it will automatically turn on. After a power outage it will not do that. I tried plugging it again after being unplugged overnight. It turned on automatically, high heat, high wattage. It did stay off after unplugged for five min. So after an extended power outage, it may do a hard reset and automatically turned on. I may not return it depending on how long the hard reset time is. We get power outages that can last 4-8hours and I don’t want a heater that resets to high wattage, high heat.

I love this heater! We've only been using it a week but are very dependent on it. Our family room windows are on the northbside where the cold air from a mountain seems to drom down directly in through our windows. This unit takes that nip out of the room. We actually had to drop our thermostate a few degrees. No noise, no fan, radient heat is just perfect! The remote works for us but the controller is right on top and easily accessible in case the remote ever stoos working. We've kept ours on 70 ever since we received it. Not sure how hot the back may be but there is a plastic handle on the back top which you can easily lift. You can roll it back and forth on the base wheels as well. I love the sleek modern design.

This space heater is the best. We bough a new house in 2025 and the primary bedroom was always cold so i bought to keep warm at night. The size is perfect so during the day I'm able to move it around the house if needed. It was a great buy and so many features...even a remote which I don't use.

Heater was Exactly as Described. Set up was super easy out of the box. I plugged it right in and while there was a little smell, it did dissipate quickly. The remote worked well, but I wasn't able to connect to the app, because it requires a 2.4 hz signal and my router is only 5G. It is whisper quiet and it gave off a great amount of heat. It says to be used in a 300 square foot room or smaller, but it did a pretty good job in my room of over 500 square feet. I like the timer mode and the auto shut off mode. I am not sure how great it would work mounted on the wall, but i had it on the floor in front of the window and it still heated my room within a few hours. It works well.

So far im impressed. It took the chill out of the air almost immediately. Very hot to the touch not safe for babies or curious pets. Notice the hvac heat turning off more frequently but not enough to keep it off. Im using this in a sunroom that causes a lot of cold spots and drafts. Turned it on and almost immediately noticed the chill was gone. If I put two of these in the room, I could imagine it feeling really warm.

Should be ZERO stars because this is NOT and infrared radiant heater. This is a convection heater. Radiant infrared heat works by emitting infrared wave that heat objects in the room that are in front of the heater and as much as 10 feet away. This heater is a CONVECTION heater which heats the air and that air rises straight up….so you can’t feel it 1 foot away. Stop false advertising and change your title to what this really is!

I got this heater specifically because my room is REALLY big. Like if I did cartwheels from one side of my room to the other, id probably clear 7 cartwheels or more. Its longer than it is wide, but im sure that doesnt really matter. Regardless, I bought this heater because my house is FREEZING, and my room is the coldest area, essily dipping to 40 degrees or so. Some nights i can see my breath in my own room. The baseboard heaters dont do diddly bop and its expensive to run them. I also think the home hasnt been properly weathering. That said, for 2 years ive been trying to find a heater to adequately heat up the large, cold space that is my room. I only heard of mica heaters a month ago, so i decided to get the one I saw was the best rated, despite it being expensive. Ive seen people say it heats up large spaces well, with one review saying that it heated up their 1000 sq ft space amazingly well, and another saying it kept their spot cozy and warm, even when temps dipped below freezing outside. The heater is very nice and attractive, and its super quiet. The controls are a little different but not hard to navigate, and I never connected it to the wifi. It heats up so fast, and I love the 88 degree heat blast feature to quickly heat a space fast. When I was close to this thing, I was super warm and cozy. But thats the issue. Its like I had to be right up on it. I set it on a stand by my bed and had to pull it as close to my bed as possible. I have a king size bed, and couldnt feel the heat on the other side of the bed. It didnt heat up my room at all, even with me keeping an eye on it and always setting it to the 88 degree heat blast, since it automatically switches back to regular heat after 2 hours. And im more than certain my room isnt 1000 sq ft, nor have temps dropped below freezing. I believe my apartment might drafty as well, since it is an old converted town home, but I used another type of heater (that I really shouldn't be using indoors) and after I turned it off the heat didnt immediately leave like I feel it would in a drafty home, though it did take hours to warm my room. All in all, I dont know if I just got an iffy heater or what, but im going to try to get my home weatherized and try again next winter. I returned it for now because it was just too expensive, forced heat space heaters do better justice to my fingers since they blow hot air and not just radiate heat, and electric companies dont recommend them anyway.
