I have been looking at this style of stool for years! I pulled the trigger on these (backless and with back) to update all the stools in our home! I had seen others from World Market that got bad reviews, ordered some from Target and they looked cheap (even though they were the same price), tried another similar brand that Wayfair sells but was also available on Amazon that were close, but nothing like these! I love they have matching backless and back stools. The leather looks real and there is no stitching on them! The wood is a nice color - slightly lighter/honey but goes well with our darker "coffee" stained floors. The back is high enough to actually support a person. They were very easy to assemble. Each piece comes with its own screwdriver and just the right number of parts. I did get them on prime day for $150 each. The backless don't seem to go on sale. I have yet to spray leather protectant on them, but I'm hoping that the color stays the same after. I also hope they last for the next 3-5 years, but time will tell. Overall, this chronic searcher is very happy with these!

These look far more expensive than they are. Though my husband suggested that the price reflects the difficulty in assembly. He finally got them firmly put together, but it was a very awkward process.

I first came across these counter stools when I looked at a house that we were considering buying. Every furnishing in this house was so upscale and since I had spotted other Pottery Barn furnishings in the house , I had made the assumption that the counter stools were from Pottery Barn as well. I carefully examined them and touched the soft yet sturdy woven straps and just admired these knowing that owning these would be out of the question. I couldn’t justify spending thousands on a few counter stools. We ended up purchasing the home and after the closing had received the sellers phone number to coordinate moving arrangements … One of the many questions I asked the seller was ,” Your counter stools…. They are beyond gorgeous. Did you get these from Pottery Barn,” She replied,” No … I purchased off of Amazon. “ I immediately went to Amazon, purchased 4 counter stools and received a couple of days later. All I can say is Uh-may-zing. 1) Arrived quickly 2) Packaged great. 3) One stool arrived damaged and the process to send back was easy and I didn’t have spend anything to return. 4) I was immediately shipped a new one 5) The quality if the straps… wonderful. They feel like leather and look like leather. The color is on point. 6) Very comfortable. My 6’3” husband agrees that very comfortable. 7) They look amazing and I get compliments consistently. One of the best purchases ever.

I recently purchased 3 of these for my kitchen island bar area. They were fairly easy to assemble but I would prefer some written instructions to pair with the photos. After you figure it out with the first, it’s easier with the next chairs. I loved that all the tools were given including a legit screwdriver! The only reasons I’m giving this product a 4/5 is because due to the texture of the woven faux weather straps, it will leave an uncomfortable imprint if sitting more than a few minutes in shorts and it isn’t exactly an easy-to-clean item. A couple things I didn’t consider beforehand, but not exactly a deal breaker for us either. Good to know before you buy. They’re still great quality chairs and the faux leather is really smooth and soft. The tone of the wood, leather and the woven texture add a certain warmth and dimension to such a run-of-the-mill space we all use daily.

We received 2 stools & assembled the 1st one. The second stool had a defective part - the screw thread on one of the legs was broken & we couldn't screw aother part of the stool into it. We contacted customer service numerous times requesting a replacement leg. They kept shooting back the same automatic reply, asking for information we had already supplied. We never got the part or any reply as to status. So we had to disassemble the 1st chair & send both back, due to their dismal customer service. I would never order anything from them again as they do not backup or support their product.

Ive had these for about a year and they work amazingly. They are a good height and are pretty lightweight. They are a little tough to assemble but after you’re done it feels so good. The padding is pretty good and its really sturdy 100% recommend.
