These are my absolute favorite shorts ever! They're so comfortable & versatile that I bought them in every color but like 1 or 2. I'm 5'2" & weigh 136lbs. After reading the reviews, I ordered a size up (L) & they were a bit too big but still fit well enough to keep. I then ordered a few other colors in my regular size medium & they fit perfect! They were out of mediums in the hunter green so I decided to try the small & they also fit, possibly better than the mediums! Before you throw them in the wash, be sure to tie the strings or they WILL come out!!!

I have purchased Baleaf clothing before and like it very much. It seems to be designed with a lot of thought for the needs of the user. These shorts are no exception. I wear them for walking. I walk several miles each trip, and the shorts are comfortable and a great length. The pockets are large. The waistband stays in place and does not cut into your skin. The shorts look good after washing and drying, too. I ordered more of them to wear every day.

I wasn't sure about these at first, but they grew on me. I use the drawstring for a better fit. Two weeks in a row now I've forgotten to knot the drawstrings before washing. The drawstring slips right out and it is very difficult to get it back in, even with a safety pin.

I like the length and the deep pockets. Material is thinner than expected, but not bad. Like a ripstop material. I wish the side pockets had zippers. The back waist pocket has a zipper but it too small to fit anything but a single key. My main concern is that the nice, wide, stretchy waistband has a thin piece of elastic at the very top border that digs in slightly. Why?! The waistband is already stretchy, plus it has the drawstring. The tiny elastic at the top only serves the purpose of making the shorts slightly uncomfortable. Can't decide if I'm going to keep them or not just because of that.

These are perfect to play softball in during the hot summer weather. They're the perfect length (especially for this catcher). They don't ride up through my thigh area like most shorts I own. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is after the first wash, the draw strings retracted into the shorts and it took me 2 hours to line it back up through the holes. (I need the tie!)
