We purchased a new treadmill to add to our home gym. Needed a new rubber mat to place under it. This is exactly what we were looking for. The size is just the right length. The thickness is perfect. It's lightweight so easy to move around (if needed), but yet thick/durable/heavy enough to protect our flooring underneath. The rubber material is also thick enough to withstand the weight of a large piece of heavy gym equipment. This would also make a good mat in an exercise room for floor exercises, yoga, etc.... I purchased the first one in 2021 and it's still in daily use for floor exercises and has withstood 3 years of weights being dropped on it. I decided to get a set of puzzle gym floor mats recently to expand my floor protection. Where the weights are dropped have already deformed them creating a trip hazard (less than 2 months). I decided to purchase another of this mat to set on top of the puzzle mat and it works superbly. It's heavy enough to push the bad area down and provides a more durable padding to protect the floor. Disclaimer -- there is some sort of free item claim upon review submission. But then i review most of my purchases and this one is no different. this review is not impacted by the free item claim. Requirement -- this mat was purchased for some in garage / patio calisthenics workouts owing to Covid-19 situation. this is a heavy well built mattress. straight out of the boxhad that rubber / chemical smell (not overpowering but it was there). Put it out in the sun for a coupe of days (bright sunny and rainy as well) and the smell is all gone. Now sits in the garage for workouts and has been put to a month+ of daily usgae. Pros -- -- extremely well built, sturdy and heavy mattress. -- Thickness is decent for the amount paid. spot jogging on it did mitigate the impact from the ground. -- the rubber density is very good. indents do get created as you stand on it but no to the extent to feel the ground beneath. -- grippy surface -- the texture is such to not let the foot slip and that is very helpful for mountain climbers/burpees. Cons -- -- dust does tend to reduce the grip a bit. A simple fix is to wipe it with a wet power towel (cleanex wipes are great but i am not sure of the effects of chemicals in the long run). This mat is great, its thick and cushiony. I would recommend using this on hard floors, but could work on short carpet. I bought to use with my walking pad under the desk, but since my desk is on carpet there was just too much cushion and the belt was hitting this mat.

This mat works well for our Peloton bike. The bike is stable and not wobbling, and the mat provides a nice cushion for walking in your Delta clip cycling shoes. It was also easy to clean when my puppy chose it as an unfortunate spot to go the bathroom.

I liked the fact that the mat fit right away. It's quiet and protects the floor, and it didn't have any odor, which is rare with this kind of product. I have been using it for a long time, and so far it has proved to be excellent. Before that I tried the usual thin mats, but they quickly deformed and did not give such stability. Purchased for at home training for my daughter. She uses a fitness box to jump on to build strength for figure skating. The box doesn’t move whatsoever when it’s on top of this pad.
