If you have a little know how on mechanical things, this kit is a nice and fun install. It transforms a bike into a really nice electric bike. Lots of cool options... pedal assist or no assist. Many levels of assist or drive by thumb throttle and don't pedal. Includes safety cut off brake levers, speedometer with magnetic pickup, headlight, tail light, color digital display.... all you could ever want. I did this conversion on my wife's bike, she absolutely loves it. Use all your rear sprocket gears still, plus multiple motor speed levels. The bike will literally go 25mph +. I've only charged the battery once so far.... last year! we've been on multiple rides last summer, bike was parked for the winter. Same single charge still, has 70% and we've done multiple rides since taking it out after winter. Still only has the single original charge! Keep in mind my wife only uses the power when needed. Does add a lot of weight to the bike that is clearly noticeable when lifting it. But riding it is not a problem. We live in a hilly, mountainous area. I got the extra gear shift sensor and it really makes the gear changes smooth. This kit is well worth the price and the bike looks like a normal bike still. ... show more
