Only giving 4 stars because the "user manual" is a single slip, tells you the obvious (black = ground) (red = power) but the camera and little screen? Well worth the 17$, pretty good picture and I did wire it to be on while my van is in drive, camera doesn't heat up, nothing to complain about besides taking two hours to figure out how too install it but still a really good set up and for the price. BUY IT! As long as you can wire a radio you can do this and I HIGHLY recommend this one if you are on a budget.

Short and sweet. Don't buy it !!!! After over 3 hours of work running all the wiring and mounting the monitor and camera. It doesn't even turn on. Verified power to the monitor and camera. Absolutely nothing. It doesn't even have a power button. There is a hole in the back with the power symbol but it's empty. Total piece of you know what !!!!!! I don't want to give it any stars. But like everything else on Amazon. You have to at least pick one star to submit your review..

Seller contacted me by email to offer a replacement unit. Impressed with their customer care so far. Will update when I receive new system! Original review: Great little set for the price. Been using for about 4 months. For some reason the monitor does not always function when the car is in reverse. It seems to happen most when the car has been parked outside for awhile but not always. I'm wondering if extreme heat might affect the camera from transmitting (or the monitor.) Overall I'm pleased, but the random black screen is kind of an annoyance.

Wasn't sure if this would be any good or not, but wow, I am very pleased. Installation was easy in my extended cargo van. There was even enough wire to reach, from the headliner, where I positioned the monitor, along the length of the van, down through the floor and down to the license plate, under the bumper (old school van). I reversed the mounting bracket and stuck the monitor to my masonite headliner. No installation issues, and great results.

Adhesive tape for the camera is not very good didn't really stick very well had to get better stuff but other than that the camera worked really well I had a full size vehicle at the wire was plenty long enough
