I have put up blinds, different sorts, on each window, some better than others. I think this was one of the better ones and I think the price is reasonable. The blind is well made. I bought another set of blinds (the up/down kind, so it is lighter in weight) and the hardware felt like aluminum and arrived bent. The company was good and replaced the hardware but even putting it up, I bent it and had to fix it. The hardware included in this is super solid. The wall anchors are substantial, but I didn't use them because the inside of my windows is hard enough that putting in screws is difficult and I have to drill pilot holes. This has been the case for all the blinds I bought. The screws were ok and on the better side of what I have received for blinds. One, the top was malformed, but there were extras, so I wasn't short screws. Installation was easy and straight forward. In the valance, was a small chip, which likely could be easily repaired, but I didn't use it as I used an inside mount. The valance is thick and a bit more upscale than what I have gotten in the past. It has a crown molding look instead of the straight bar like appearance of most. I really wish I could have used it. What I didn't like, if one does the inside mount install, there is no smaller bar that covers the hardware and I think it looks unfinished. Fortunately for me, I was able to use the previous string blind strip and mounting brackets to cover the mounting hardware and it looks neat and finished. The measurements of the blind were perfect. The blind pushes/pulls easily up and down. I think this blind is best for outside mounts with the nice crown valance. Unfortunately, there is nothing to cover the inside mount, which is atypical from previous blinds I have gotten as they usually have something to cover inside mounts. There were slight imperfections with a malformed screw and slight chip in the valance, but nothing that I think is a game changer. Also, I didn't contact customer service either, as I didn't need those two items. The blind all in all, is sturdy, well manufactured, looks great and works like a charm. ... show more
