I love this little micro green kit! The kit is pretty much self explanatory and the instructions were easy to understand. The amount of seeds you get could easily cover twice the surface area of the ceramic dish. Quality looks great. Just planted and watered today, will see in two days if they sprout by then like it says so I will come back and update if things don't grow accordingly. I also like the fact that you can get text reminders to water it so you don't forget! I can't wait to snip these delicious greens and add them to my sandwiches and salads! EDIT* These are DELICIOUS! I add them to everything as a pretty little garnish but my kids have been asking for them on their sandwiches! As a mom, I am THRILLED that they ask for them because of the health benefits from the microgreens alone! For $10, this is a MUST have in your kitchen! I loved the reminder texts I got from Back to the Roots and guide on the website. It was fun to watch the process from planting to sprouting and the growth every day! This easily became a regular addition to my live herb garden that I have in my kitchen! You can even use the seeds to grow spouts in a jar! Works just as described! I love this little grow system. It’s a wonderful price. Very affordable and great for kids and adults alike. Germination was seamless. I cut into it about 8-9 days in. They are great on a grilled cheese sandwich with olives 3 different cheeses. Give it a try.

I followed the directions exactly against my better judgment. I have never grown microgreens before, so I followed the directed protocol. I think it was too much water. Some of them were growing and some were not. I thought it might just take a few more days. Then, I started smelling a really foul odor (poop smell). Uck! Trashed them. So disappointed. I even had purchased two of them because we have both been enjoying microgreens from the farmers market. Two stars for the ceramic dish.
