These shoes are really cute and they are comfortable. However, I wish they had a wider sole. My foot is not really wide but it is a little wider. I have another pair of keen shoes and they are perfect for me. I wish these were perfect for me, they just aren't. They are just a little too narrow.

I am a loyal Keens wearer since my feet are fat, flat boats that hardly fit into anything else. My previous Keen sandals were pretty much worn out so when I found these, I jumped at them. I normally would not buy red sandals but the price was almost 50% off. There were a few reviews about the toe box being narrow (which is not typical for Keens) but I wanted to try anyway. They fit great. They are a little less bulky than my old ones but the toe box is wide enough for my sausage feet. The color is actually not too bad, less of a red and more of a muted maroon/rust- doable for me. They are very comfortable and I don't anticipate changing shoes any time soon. ... show more

I have had Keens before. These are perfect. Color, fit and comfort. I have both knee pain and bunions and these are great for both. Previous Keens were a but too wide, male fit and the waterproof ones disintegrated but these are made partly of leather, so more flexible and comfortable. These were shipped from Amazon in Ireland. They were perfect and I absolutely love the Teal color! I would highly recommend using a spray type waterproofing as they are leather. If you at all interested in these, get them while you can as they don’t make this color anymore.

    • Comfy round toe bed and very cute!
I needed a good hiking sandal to wear on my trip to Hawaii in October. I have never worn a sandal like this before. I liked the look of it and I got the color gargoyle/Norse blue and I love them. I bought my regular shoe size 7 but I find it a bit challenging to get the strap up. They are a little small length-wise. I really have to struggle to get the strap up. Maybe I should have bought a half size up. The reviews were confusing about the size to chose. Since the strap is leather I don't think there will be any give ever. I have wore them twice for 1 hour walks each. The toe bed is just perfect. Nothing gets squeezed and I worried that my little toe would slip out but no problem there. I didn't want to buy a sandal with to much padding on the bottom of the shoe because I don't feel stable with more height. But the heel could have more padding. If I had bought a half size up and there was a little more padding on the heel they would be perfect. Since I have worn them already I will still wear them around home and in Hawaii. I love these sandals and as soon the heels got too worn, I bought another pair! In South Fl you wear sandals 10-mths of the year. I worn them everyday and they lasted 6-yrs! Wide toe box for extra comfort too!

Just finished a 6 week trip in Peru. I wanted a shoe that would meet all my needs. Theses shoes were perfect! Packing light was a must! I ordered a size 7. This was perfect. I usually range between a 7 and 7.5. The shoes do stretch a little with use. The color of the leather and the design of the shoe made it great for everyday walking around (it is a sporty sandal, but it still looks great with everyday clothes). I hiked to many waterfalls in the Amazon and it was awesome to have a fast drying sandal like this one. I also did the 5 day salkantay treck to Macchu Picchu. These shoes also worked perfect! It was cold in the mountains but with sock they were warm enough. It was vigorous hiking in mixed terrain and it withstood the diversity of landscapes very well. On sand, pebbles do fall through the cracks and can be hard to get out, but it's a sandal. So this is to be expected. They are extremely light and the sole is not very thick. After weeks of hiking my feet were sore but I think that is to be expected of any long hiking trip. Overall a great shoe! I'd definitely recommend! ... show more
