This is honestly a stellar hair tool! I’ve always been a big fan of BaBylissPRO hair tools for their quality and functionality, and this big beautiful beast falls right in line with the others (it’s fair to say I’ve used many). I love the sleek aesthetic look of the blue/black/silver colorway, though I know that sounds silly. It’s just a cool looking hair too. It comes in a convenient black quilted bag that makes it perfect for storage or travel, and it’s a decent bag too. The main part of the tool- the wand is lightweight for what it is, I’ve tried other that felt like a workout just to use, lol. The control buttons on the side are super easy to navigate and I don’t find myself accidentally switching the settings mid-style while holding it which is always a plus. If you enjoy experimenting with your hair, or like to do multiple different styles, this is a great tool for that. It has the round brush, a paddle brush, left and right curlers, and the style concentrator drying attachment. Each attachment is easy to switch out and locks firmly in place. The star of the show for me is the round brush. I have long hair that’s on the thinner side (thanks perimenopause 🙄), and I like to flat iron it, but that makes my hair very limp. Using this round brush gives my hair gorgeous volume and shape, especially at the roots. Then I go in and lightly air curl the ends for more dimension. It makes my hair really soft, shiny, and doesn’t make it crazy frizzy like some dryer brushes do. One thing to note is that this is easier to use the air curlers when your hair is already slightly dried since it uses….you guess it….hot air to set. It’s not super loud while using it, I can still jam out to my music like a goober while doing my hair. The cord length is fair and plenty. It comes with a rat tail comb and some crease-free clips as a bonus that are cute (because they match…duh), and useful. The box showed the picture of a slightly different set, but inside it was what matched the straight/wavy listing. This is an interesting styling dryer. It makes it much more natural to dry and brush at the same time because it's like handling a standard hair brush. I did find I kept trying to hold it at the end where the cord goes into the handle. That happens to be where the air intake is. The fan speed settings were easy to adjust as were the heat settings. Each attachment locks onto the base unit. Quite literally there is an unlock button you need to push if you want to remove one. This isn't one of those after thought attachments which fall off a normal hair dryer. The base unit also isn't too heavy and once you start holding it where it's designed to be held, it then balances pretty well in the hand. The air intake has a fine mesh underneath it to catch hair to help make cleaning upkeep simple. Since the attachment pieces each remove, they should be easy to clean off built up hairspray. The carrying case keeps it all nice and organized. However, I don't know that I would travel with the whole bag but would simply take the most essential extension. This will travel better than a standard blow dryer. I did find that if I wanted to just have a standard blow dry I could leave the adapter off and it would work as a blower. I ordered this BaBylissPRO The Style/Switch 5-in-1 Air Styling and Drying System, & the quality is outstanding! It features has 3 speed settings, 3 temperature settings, a cold shot button, & includes 5 attatchments, right curling barrel, left curling barrel, concentrator, paddle brush, & round brush. It also comes with a user manual, a rat tail comb, 4 hair clips, & a storage bag, for added convenience. It’s easy to use, lightweight, comfortable to hold, and has a 9-foot cord that swivels 360°. It’s has a max temperature of 257°, making it safe on my hair, which I really appreciate. My favorite attachment is the paddle brush, it leaves my hair feeling so smooth, incredibly soft, frizz-free, with an overall healthier looking appearance. I was using a cheap drying brush, followed up by a flat iron, both of which I have tossed, since receiving this styling system. It’s made such a difference on my hair, I’ve been so many compliments, & it looks like I just stepped out of a salon! I absolutely love how it makes my hair look, not to mention the convenience on all the time saved from not having to flat iron my hair. It functions and performs incredibly well, & I couldn’t be more pleased!
