It was recommended to me by my hair stylist. I've only used whatever $20 hair dryers before. This one has a number of nice qualities I've learnt to appreciate: 1. Much stronger flow and the ability to reduce it. 2. Two heating settings allow me to use Med heat with High flow drying my hair more gently. After a number of uses I've noticed my hair is less brittle and burnt. My hair is visibly shinier and smoother. 3. For whatever reason it feels like my hair hold volume better after drying. 4. Heaver and sturdier dryer. 5. The hair dryer is pleasant to hold and use. 6. No weird burnt smell that is sometimes present with other hair dryers.

8 or nine years ago, I bought this hairdryer, in red, from my hairstylist. It just recently died this year after probably dropping it one too many times. I was happy to buy a new one, this time in black. I feel like the price is not too bad for the quality. I know the hairdryer will last for years despite abuse. The cord is thick and I believe it’s one of the reason’s for its longevity. This is definitely a professional hairdryer. I LOVE it!

I cannot believe I made it through this many years of life thinking all hair dryers were created equal. That somehow my $20 pink dryer I've had since...college(?) could give the same results as this beauty. Then one day I asked my lovely hair stylist what she'd recommend/uses herself and this was one of her top picks. I did a little comparison and am very satisfied with my choice of the Volare! My hair has never looked so smooth (at least not when I do it myself) and I'm no longer concerned about frying my ends straight off! And of course this is the one review I don't have a super relevant picture for... 🙄

this is well made and very powerful, looks great, feels like it’s high quality. but it feels very heavy after a few minutes of blow drying, if your hair routine is long i wouldn’t recommend. also even the low setting sends out a powerful stream of air, which might be a problem for some
