Wow. Just wow. I splurged on this bad boy for Black Friday because I really like my babyliss flat iron and my current hairdryer (Conair infinity Pro) is getting old. Also I am getting old and tired of holding a heavy dryer (that was my main complaint about the Conair, otherwise that dryer is a good value). Now, let me tell you, I have very thick, long, bleached highlighted hair that takes FOREVER to dry and always ends up frizzy. I have tried some of the famous expensive hair dryers before (ie: from vacuum makers) and wasn’t impressed. High end, low end, I’ve owned at least 10 hairdryers in my life. None of them compare to this one. First of all, it’s lighter weight than any other hairdryer I’ve used. Second of all, it dried my hair about 30% faster. And finally, my hair actually looks shiny and not frizzy with flyaways everywhere. I’m super impressed with this dryer and hope the motor holds up.

This dryer works amazingly well for thick hair. It produces a great blowout for wavy/curly hair. But, as others have said, the buttons are very easy to switch accidentally while you are using the dryer. It’s less about placement (I have had dryers where the switches are in the same exact spot with no issues). The problem is the switches are very easy to press. I originally thought I would return because of this issue. It was super annoying! I figured out that I could move my hand to the top of the handle over the cool shot button while I am using for the blowout, and it doesn’t switch the main buttons, but occasionally does press the cool-shot. The outside of the hair dryer never gets hot, so this works fine. I can even hold the dryer after using it between my bare thighs (turned off) when sectioning more hair, that is how cool the exterior is. I have not had the issue with the concentrator nozzle falling off, once I pushed it on hard. I notice that my hair comes out a lot softer if I first use the high heat and high fan to get most of the drying done, then switch to high heat, low fan for the remainder. I decided to keep this dryer, despite the button issue because it does such a great job of drying my super thick wavy hair to straight. It is probably the best dryer I have tried and I have had more expensive dryers. It has cut my drying time down and that alone is worth it to me.

Love this hair dryer! It's quieter than my last one, and also more powerful. It takes a fraction of the time to get my hair dry, which is a huge plus for anyone dealing with hot flashes! The low/high power and temp buttons seem backwards to me, but that's not a big deal.
