A great little kit. The milk cotton yarn is super soft and yummy. The balls are small which makes it very travel friendly. It also comes in a resealable vinyl bag. I just started it, but it looks like it has plenty of yarn and comes with two hooks, one for the squares, the other for the border, nippers, make sure you hold the yarn under tension to cut, a retractable measuring tape, stitch markers and darning needles. As an experienced crocheter, I have some notes. The yarn has a loose twist so will have a tendency to split, go slow until you get used to it. You can also over-twist it to compensate. The pattern is well written, if you are familiar with written patterns. It does not have a chart. If you are a very beginner and are having trouble, there is a QR code to tutorial videos, they are slow paced and show her hands well. If you are still having trouble, look for other videos where they use the knife grip instead of the pencil grip and that may help. I use the knife grip when crocheting.

Overall, it is a good kit for the price. Pros: -The yarn is very soft. -The colors are beautiful. -In addition to the yarn, the kit comes with a travel scissors, 2 crochet hooks, stitch markers, needles for joining, and a retractable measuring tape. Cons: -You can't buy any of the yarn separately so if you run out of any of the yarn, you'll have to buy another kit. -The written instructions are poorly written. I've been crocheting for almost 40 years, and I found it confusing as written. A beginner would be lost. -The yarn tends to split. I had to switch to my Clover crochet needles and that helped with the splitting. Overall, I like the kit and recommend it. If you're a true beginner, this may not be the starting project for you, however, it does come with lots of accessories at a reasonable price.

Not bad I like the yarn color even tho most of the yarn strands kept separating and honestly the instructions were really confusing to follow. I kept messing up and had to keep going back and re-read a million times, the pictures were no help either, I wish they had a video tutorial I could follow because I’m not good at following by reading. I’m still trying to figure out how to make one single square, but I also lost my book and don’t see any downloadable stuff for that either so I guess im not going to finish the blanket :( but hey I know how to make daisy’s now I guess and it came with a lot of other stuff like crochet needles (2) yarn scissors (those don’t work anymore after 20 uses) a measure tape retractable so cool, and place markers I think they are called

Instructions are easy & straightforward. They have both pictures & written how tos for both the pattern as well as general stitches. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

The quality of this set is disappointing. The yarn comes apart far too easily, making it difficult to work with and frustrating to complete any project. The crochet hooks are not very comfortable or effective, and the scissors struggle to cut properly. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this set for anyone looking for a smooth crafting experience.

I was excited to get this and start making my blanket. I am a just learning to crochet and the description stated it was for beginners with step by step instructions. This is NOT for beginners and does not have step by step instructions. It has instructions with pictures on how to make the different stitches, a QR code to watch YouTube videos of the different stitches which goes fast and are not in order. It gives vague steps on what to do but there are no instructions on how to fully make any piece of the blanket. The other issue is the quality of the yarn. It is impossible to keep it taut enough to make a decent stitch and is so loose that my hook kept going through the middle of the yarn when trying to grab pieces and bring them through. I have restarted so many times that I am pretty sure I will run out of yarn. This is neither for beginners or easy!
