Wow, these are super sharpe out the box, I think these are zero gapped, don't use these on kids, and if you have sensitive skin or a client, do not use these they will break skin easily, you must be super light handed, which will take practice for some of your but please be careful. I've lined up my hair and it's sharpe and crispy, I do think you will love these, it handles well, rubber grip, small, and easy to use, just dont ever apply pressure ever.

I’m a hairstylist, I ordered this BaBylissPRO Dual Coil Trimmer, Proffessional Cordless Hair Trimmer- Precision Detail & Line-Up, and the quality is outstanding! It comes with a USB-C cable, a charging stand, & a zero gap adjustment tool. This is a salon-grade trimmer, so it does have some weight to it, however, it is a bit lighter than many of my other trimmers, which is really nice, & the longevity seems to be very promising. It features a removable magnetic cleaning door, making cleaning quick, easy, & super convenient! I love the ergonomic design, it feels nice in my hand, it’s easy to pivot, & maneuver, and offers great precision. It’s comfortable to hold & easy to use in a salon-setting for an extended amount of time, it runs consistently with great stability, and I didn’t experience any overheating. It very durable, the rear & front lower half of the housing is all-metal, and the front upper half is a very durable, transparent plastic. The noise level is very low, & is more of a soft hum verses a loud buzzing sound, which is really nice. It’s great for all hair types, cuts through thick coarse hair with ease, and functions & performs incredibly well. It’s great for detailing & clean-up work, it’s very powerful, the blade is incredibly sharp, It delivers sharp, clean, crisp lines, & I didn’t experience any biting, pulling, bogging, or skipping. It can be charged using the halo base, or by plugging directly to the bottom of the trimmer, it takes about 1.5 hours to charge, & has a 1.5 hour runtime. My only complaint is that it does not come with a protective cover for the blade, which I feel is important for the longevity of the blade, & the run time falls short when compared to my other trimmers, especially for the price. It also does not include a charging block, oil, or a cleaning brush, which isn’t an issue for me, but maybe for others, so I feel it’s worth noting. Overall, it functions and performs incredibly well, it’s a great new addition to my work station, & I’m very pleased! At the time of this review, it’s priced at $299.99, and it’s my opinion that it’s reasonably priced when compared to other comparables of the same quality. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

For clarification, this is the trimmer, companion to the clipper. A lot of people conflate the word trimmers with clippers, but the former is for detail work and getting close to the skin while the latter is for cuting hair but leaving some length. In practical terms, this trimmer is great for fades, cleaning up side burns, and lowering a beard or ‘stach’s volume. It’s only for haircuts if you want to shave it all off. With that said, this Babyliss dual coil trimmer is fantastic and a true professional device, rather than a “pro” moniker on a consumer gadget. You get that feeling as soon as you lift it out of the box. It has definite heft thanks to the dual coil motors and mostly metal body. That weight, used correctly, provides excellent control. It’s molded with lots of divots for fingers and thumbs to rest in and make the trimmer feel part of you. That and the rubberized lower handle give me the confidence to move quickly without fear it will slip away or out of my hand as well as preventing cramping and fatigue. The power button is a large nub and in easy thumbs reach the instant you need to turn it off, but it’s not overly sensitive where it will cause accidental shut offs if you bump it while trimming. The included deep tooth blade is a top notch zero gap MIM titanium. Paired with the 8500 RPM dual coil motor it gives a ridiculously smooth and even trim, even on thick, coarse hair. This is what makes it pro in my opinion. Another advantage is that it’s a bit quieter than most other pro trimmers, and definitely “home” trimmers I’ve tried, though that doesn’t mean It’s silent by any means. Aside from aesthetics, the other nice feature is the magnetic hair pocket that traps hair so it doesn’t end up in clothes or other unwanted places. Of course, hair pockets are standard in most trimmers, but I like that this one is held in with a magnet to make opening and closing easy and fast. Battery life is as advertised. I left mine on for a couple hours to test it and only then did it shut down. I’m not a professional barber so that’s more than enough time for me. Since trimmers are a secondary device for barbers I imagine that all day time for them too except maybe Saturday. Last, I must touch on cool blue LED and visible dual coils. This adds nothing to the functionality of the trimmer but gives an exciting look to an otherwise boring tool. The included USB-C charge stand also has a blue glow ring. I am not a professional barber so, I depend of very high quality tools to do my own grooming. I have experimented with multiple high-end brands, and Babyliss is my preferred one. The quality and durability are exceptional. When I had the opportunity to order this trimmer, I did not hesitate. I am coming from the Babyliss Pro FX Trimmer, which is an amazing, precise, and powerful trimmer, so I was curious about this new product. These are my highlights based on my experience with many trimmers, wired and wireless: 1- Size: The Babyliss Pro Dual-coil is small and compact, very easy in your hands. Despite being smaller than the FX one, it has a great balance. 2- Weight: This trimmer has a nice weight; it is light, but it feels heavy enough to provide good feedback and maneuverability. 3- Ergonomics: This is one of my favorite things about this product; the handle and grip are amazing. Combined with the size and weight distribution, I feel very confident working on areas like my mustache or sideburns. As I work on my own beard, the size and grip give me better visibility of what I am doing in front of the mirror. 4- Power: This thing is powerful! The dual coils deliver what they promise. 5- Noise: This trimmer is very quiet. Because of its power and Dual coil technology, I expected it to be noisier, but I was wrong. It is quite the opposite; this trimmer is actually very quiet, especially compared to my Wahl detailer trimmer or my Babyliss Pro FX. 6- Precision: The blade and power combined provide amazing precision. I can make straight lines, and I haven't had to 0 it out. Straight out of the box, you get a sharp and accurate tool that won't bite your skin. 7- Looks: I know this doesn't have to do with performance, but I had to mention that this little trimmer looks so cool and modern. 8- Battery life and charging time. So far, I've only had to charge it once, and it charged very quickly. For me, who doesn't use it in a professional environment, one charge lasts for very long. Barbers could expect a few hours of constant use, but since it comes with a base, I don't think that will be a concern. Cons: I really had to think hard, trying to look for something to criticize about this product, but I could not find nothing wrong with it. This is a piece of art. If I had to say something, I'd say it is not cheap; this is a very high-end trimmer, but you are paying for what it is. If you use it for your personal use, you are going to get a lot of value for the results. As a professional, I am sure this will be an amazing investment. If I had to summarize my review, I'd say this is the best trimmer I have ever used, and if I could rate it above 5 stars, I would.

My hairdresser turned me onto the BaByliss brand because she trusts their quality and expertise in building products for hair professionals. Which for me, translates into working well and long lasting! I ordered this for my husband to use to trim his low-cut beard. Right out of the box, this trimmer is very sharp! There is no need to press into your skin to get a close trim, just run it along and you will get a clean cut/trim. Because it's light weight, it fits naturally into your grip (the bottom of which is rubber to stay put in your hand) and has a sharp, efficient blade - the precision is impressive! My husband was also impressed that the unit doesn't heat up like other trimmers he has used. I believe it's because this latest BaByliss trimmer's blade reduces blade to blade contact. And with the built-in oil reservoir it keeps the blade constantly lubricated and working well. Another big benefit of this new BaByliss trimmer is that it's cordless. Simply connect the charging stand with the USB cable (comes in the package) into a USB plug. Once it's charged, simply lift it out and begin using it. You are not limited to trimming right next to an outlet. Since the trimmer holds almost a 2-hour charge, my husband takes it with us on road trips to keep his beard trim. For professionals, the trimmer sitting in the charging station just looks cool! It looks very new age with the circular charging station that the trimmer sits in the middle of, and has a blue hue while it's charging. And the see-through front panel shows the powerful 8,500 RPM dual-coil motor. Overall, my husband loves how this trimmer feels in his hand, the accuracy of the trim and the cordless aspect! It's worth the price for a quality trimmer that will last long.

In this economy, we are trying to save wherever we can and so unfortunately, now that I received this great trimmer, my toddler will be missing out on the professional haircut for a bit. He will be getting his hair cut at "The Home Salon" :-} Right out of the box, I was impressed by how modern and cool it looked. It has an illuminated transparent upper chamber, ergonomic side finger grooves, and rubber grips for better control. This trimmer has a dual-coil linear system which divides the workload across two coils making for steadier torque delivery and reduced vibration transfer. It maintains consistent blade rhythm without the surging when going through thick curly hair like my son's hair. Very helpful for a restless toddler during haircuts. The trimmer runs at 8,500 RPM and high RPM is not unusual in the cordless trimmer market. The differentiating factor is the Hall Sensor technology, which continuously monitors resistance at the blade and adjusts power delivery to maintain speed stability under thicker or coarser hair and means fewer repeated passes and more consistent performance. The trimmer comes with a deep-tooth MIM T-blade in the classic exposed format which provides precision visibility. The blade is fully zero-gap adjustable and is built for detailed edge work and line refinement. I've noticed that this blade runs cooler than others I've used, which prevents irritation during extended use. The trimmer runtime is pretty close to the advertised 2 hours. The box also includes the Halo Charging Stand and supports USB-C charging. Overall, it helped me give my little guy a quick easy trim and that made everyone very happy.

I picked this up because I was intrigued by the design, and I have to say it’s one of the coolest-looking trimmers I’ve used. Right out of the box, it feels premium. The all-metal housing has a solid weight to it, and the clear body with the blue LED lighting gives it a very unique look. It definitely has that professional barber-shop feel. Performance has been excellent as well. It cuts through bulk surprisingly well for a trimmer and has plenty of power for detail work, lineups, and general grooming. The blade is sharp and cuts cleanly without pulling. One thing I did notice is that it's a bit smaller than some of the COCCO clippers I've used in the past. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it was noticeable when I first picked it up. My biggest complaint is the value. For a trimmer that costs around $300, I would have liked to see some guards or attachments included. At this price point, getting just the trimmer and charging stand feels a little bare-bones. Overall, this is a very impressive professional-grade trimmer. It looks fantastic, feels premium, and performs extremely well. The only thing holding it back for me is the high price and lack of included accessories.
