The replacement blade is not as sharp as the original blade the Babyliss clippers came with. Just doesn’t quite get as close as the original. Considering the price, this was a little disappointing but it still does better than most clippers.

I’ve been a loyal Babyliss customer for years, but this last purchase really let me down. The blade I bought came noticeably uneven right out of the box, making it impossible to get a clean, professional line, it’s just poorly made. $54.99 for a messed up replacement blade. 🤦♂️ What frustrates me most is that Babyliss used to be the gold standard. When they first came on the scene, their clippers and blades were flawless, sharp, balanced, and built to last. You could feel the craftsmanship the moment you turned them on. But now? It feels like they’ve fallen off completely. The quality control is inconsistent, and it’s like they’re more focused on pumping out new models than maintaining their original level of excellence.
