I like everything about this electric shaver. So far, I have shaved 3 times. So keep my limited experience in mind for my review. -- It is not too heavy. It is not too light. Goldilocks would say it is just right. -- It is easy to grip. It has a good shape to grasp. -- It initially sounded a bit too noisy (I never used an electric shaver before). But it is not loud. It is a bit noisy, but nothing that you should find unpleasant. -- It gives my face a close shave (not the closest, but darn close). However, it depends on the hair. If it is rough, then this shaver works great. If it is fine, then this shaver will struggle. Fine hair will bend and fold, and that means that it will not go into the foil cover's holes for the blades to cut it. So I still use a disposable razor for my neck. But for my beard and mustache, it works great. And it will not cut you. So there is no worrying about that. -- I initially tried it with close to 10 days worth of facial growth. It is not designed for that, and did nearly nothing. But if you shave daily, or even skip a day (which is what I do), it works great. -- The manual states to fully charge it before using it. I did. I decided to test how long a full charge would last. I purchased this on March 27, 2025. I have been shaving with it every-other-day, since then. The LED light, today, October 17, 2025, flashed that the batter is low. And even with it flashing, it shaved like it was fully charged (no sign of slowing down). I am impressed. The manufacturer definitely used a quality battery. -- There are four battery strength bars. According to the manual, when the last bar starts blinking, you have 10 minutes left. At full charge, it is supposed to last 3 hours. -- For my shaves, it did not heat up. -- It is simple to remove the cap to expose the blades. That allows you to run some water over the blades to clean off the shavings. You can also rinse out the cap, which will have shavings. It takes 3 to 5 seconds to rinse off everything. You do not have to touch anything. Then you let it air dry. The manual warns against using a blow drier. So let it air dry. -- The manual warns to not use it when it is wet. -- The manual warns to not submerge the shaver under water. But rinsing is fine. I would think twice about using it in the shower. -- Not mentioned in the listing (and this goes for all electric foil shavers) is that you should oil the blades after every use. The manual goes on to read that not doing so will void the warranty. -- The oil is not included. So if you do not have oil, add it to your basket. -- The rechargeable battery is not replaceable. So whenever the built-in battery gets too old to hold a charge, the shaver becomes a brick -- sort of. It should still work while plugged in. But that is not clear. -- I had a question about its built-in battery. I called their customer service number (it is in the manual). After waiting 12 minutes, I was connected to a polite agent. But rather than telling me whether or not the battery was replaceable, she kept repeating that if it dies under the 2-year warranty, they will ship a new one. I was asking her about replacing the battery after the 2-year warranty period, and it was going in circles. Either she did not know the answer, and did not want to say that she did not know, or she was told / trained to focus on the warranty. But I politely made my question clear, and she eventually said that after 2 years, the unit would need to be recycled. That was the best answer I was able to obtain from her. There was no mention of a battery replacement in the manual. -- The foil and the blades are replaceable I do not know how simple or tedious that would be. It is probably not difficult, based on the rest of the shaver's very good design. I hope that the blades and the foils hold up for the long run. But for now, I like everything about this shaver (other than not being able to replace its built-in, rechargeable battery).

I’ve used a lot of electric shavers over the years, but the Barberology Double Foil Shaver FXX3SB FX3 is on another level. It truly lives up to the “professional” label powerful, precise, and built to last. Performance: The high-speed motor is no joke. It cuts incredibly fast and clean, leaving a super close, smooth finish almost like a straight razor, but without irritation. Perfect for fades, clean-ups, and bald shaves. Battery Life: The battery performance is excellent. I get multiple full shaves before needing a recharge, and the charge time is quick. I don't normally do reviews, good or bad, but this is the best shaver I've ever owned over the course of 40+ years of shaving and having owned Brauns, Norelcos, and Remingtons. It's nothing fancy. It's just a foil shaver, but it does the job better and any I've ever owned. I shave with a razor, and use the shaver to finish up. Still, there have been plenty of times when I have used it instead of a razor, and it shaves every bit as close. Maybe most impressive, I've owned it for two months, and I still haven't had to charge it. I highly recommend it.

Just 4 stars solely because IDK the long term nor replacement value yet. This shaver works great. I line up with a cheapo oneblade, which takes it down decently too, but this shaver takes it to the next level of a clean shave with a razer feel. It really does work well. I have pretty sensitive skin, if I shave wirh a regular razor I will becut and have bumps or ingrown hairs or both, this really does work well. There can be some spots that get a little sensitive but it doesn’t burn my skin wi the any lasting marks. Once I shower after or wash my face any redness goes away. I started using this when a barber shop I go to uses them for doing skin fades and the neck hairs after you take it down with something. I have not and recommend not using this on long hair, it would probably pull a lot. So you take it down relatively close with just about anything, then use this. It works well. For me this will last really long. I only use it on my neckline and it’s used for like 2-3 minutes and works as it’s supposed without causing damage to my skin. I personally like it so far. With that said, I only have a few uses on it. It’s new so it should work well. We will see hopefully it lasts. Like I said my barber uses this same one, he may have a slightly upgraded version or the next step up idk, it’s the same brand and looks the same. They are all pretty loud so know that is about the only downside to all foil shavers. Loud af. Idc it doesn’t bother me. I recommend absolutely purchasing this. Also shout out to Amazon for offering 3 payments with zero interest and they r monthly not weekly or bi weekly like most all other companies do.

My son is a barber and he loves these. He's been using these for quite some time and hasn't had any issues with them. Well made, good quality, feel good in your hand. Easy to use, easy to clean and hold a charge throughout the day. Great value for the price
