I bought this baby monitor and it was great but only for a year. The battery life is amazing for it always being plugged in. When we would unplug, the battery would last for an hour or so while we were busy outside or something like that. Reliable until one day the monitor went black. I thought maybe the camera got unplugged or something. Tried trouble shooting it but nope, it suddenly stopped working. Even took it out of the room to test it elsewhere but the screen stays black. I’ve purchased 4 different brands of baby monitors for traveling purposes. This monitor has been the easiest to use and best quality. There are some cons to this monitor though: I do not like how zoomed in it is. In order to get a good arial view of the crib the camera has to be placed up high which is not possible for most places we travel to. Another con is the night vision. I have to look at the monitor at an angel to see clearly. It is look at it straight on the screen is very white and it’s hard to see my baby. However, like I said for the cost and the ease of unplugging and plugging in it has been great. I love the 180 degree movement option and the VOX option so I don’t have to have a bright screen on all night long. And the sound quality it good too.
