I have M-Audio DSM speakers as I grabbed a pair on closeout before M-Audio stopped making them. Well, I didn't want them on my computer table as they are HUGE so I looked for the best alternative. The problem with most solution sis that they don't GRIP the speaker and I didn't want to have to worry about the speakers falling over. You see the, M-AUDIO, and I'm sure countless other speakers have rounded edges and are quite wide. The Recelco mount seemingly specked out fine but I was still in the "believe it when I see it" camp. These come with nice instructions but here are some tips: -Go to your hardware store and buy plastic anchors for these. I couldn't find a stud anywhere close to where I wanted to hang my 30 lb speakers, and the plastic studs do the job - If not using a stud buy longer screws with your plastic anchors - The clamping mechanism is tricky as it's screw based, get it fairly tight and then alternate sides until you can get it as tight as possible. - Home depot sells insulation tape that'll work instead of the stuff that comes on these to grip the speaker After installing using the above parameters this easily has held my large rounded corner speakers for over six months. I love that you can slightly angle the speakers down at yourself if you put them above ear level. These look nice with cover on them and are more than sturdy. Even without the changes I made above for most normal speakers these will work, but if you have larger weird speakers like I do take the extra moment and make the changes I did! You don't want to worry about your expensive speakers falling! Great product. BTW, I went to Tiger Direct, Best Buy and Target and couldn't find anything this good, so save yourself the time! ... show more

  • Very sturdy Very sturdy
Installation was fairly straight forward. They include bolts and anchors for concrete but not for drywall. One one side it did not align with a stud so I had to buy some drywall achors. The only minus is though its a wall mount there is no place for cable management, so I had to mount it next to the hole where the cable comes out from my wall. ... show more

  • Excellent speaker brackets!
Purchased the Rocelco B-Tech Ultragrip Pro Loudspeaker Wall Mount Brackets for my NHT 1.5 bookshelf speakers. Due to the configuration of our living room and how the furniture is arranged, there was simply no room for small speaker stands and I didn't want them on the floor getting kicked around. My NHTs are 16.5"H X 25"D X 7" wide and weigh 16 lbs each. These are ultra high quality wall mounts, very heavy duty and I have no doubts they will support my speakers more than adequately. FYI, I did end up customizing my brackets somewhat with good results. Once I had my speakers mounted, I noticed they were several inches away from the wall. The mounts are obviously made for a wide range of speaker sizes and would hold much larger speakers than I have. I was able to cut a couple of inches off the bracket support post so that the distance between the wall and the back of the speakers is now only about an inch or so. It also meant I had to drill a couple of new holes in each bracket, but for my speakers, the weight is now more centered on the mounting bracket as well. My wife wasn't wild about the idea of mounting speakers on the wall, but we really didn't have any good options and these brackets look very professional. I highly recommend them if you just don't have space otherwise for medium size loudspeakers. ... show more

  • Works as advertised and is very sturdy
I used this to mount a pair of 6" bookshelf speakers up on the wall to replace my floor-tower speakers as I have a 2-year old starting to knock into things and cause general havoc! It took about the duration of an NFL game to install these, including running the wire in-wall up to the speakers. Installation was easy to follow, and the speakers are very safely secured. I am a CPA by trade and have little experience with any sort of complicated home improvement projects. My only complaint is that the cover-plate that goes over the hardware attaching it to the wall does not have a space for the speaker wire to pass through. Thus, I suppose you would either have to cut out a notch (risky because it's plastic, so doing so could crack the whole piece), or else do as I have done, which is to have them not quite fully flush with the wall. This seems like an odd oversight, since I would expect most users of the product to desire hiding the speaker wire. ... show more

  • Looks awesome and works excellency Looks awesome and works excellency
I picked up a pair of BIC America DV62si's (BIC America DV62si Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Black), also a 5-star review if you are looking for some great-sounding speakers) that came in without the ability to mount to a wall and, at about 20 pounds each, were too heavy to use with my existing wall-mounts. So I did some research and ended up choosing these from everything else. Here are the four things that sold me the most: 1) It could hold 55 pounds, which means holding on to 20 pounds wouldn't be an issue, even with vibration. I read other reviews and I saw some that should hold 20 or more pounds but the reviews stated that it would fail with speakers that shouldn't have had problems. 2) This already had 15 5-star reviews, all saying that they worked flawlessly. How could I refute that? After reading other products with bad reviews, this one really stood out. 3) This grabs the speakers from the bottom instead of needing to drill them into the speaker itself, thus relying on the speaker itself to support the weight. I'm no speaker expert, but when everything else (that seemed to fail quite often) held onto it from the back of the speaker I got really concerned. Because if the speaker box vibrates off the wall mount I think you'd have the replace the entire speaker. 4) These looked pretty amazing! I really liked the clean look and this appealed to me. There was one thing that made me hesitate, and that is the price. You can find things that should hold heavy speakers for about half this price, but in the end I wanted to purchase something that I knew would work and I decided to go with this. Setup is real easy and took about half an hour to put both of my speakers up. I would have been faster but I had to almost turn into a contortionist to get one of my speakers up because of the furniture located under it. So if you have a clean shot at the wall, you should be able to throw both up in about twenty to twenty-five minutes. And it looks GREAT!! Every Tuesday night I host a movie night with the neighbors. None have visited without commenting on how it looks. I'll upload some pictures. I've had them up for about two weeks and have subjected those speakers to as much punishment as possible and they have worked flawlessly. I could not have been happier with how these have turned out!! ... show more

  • Nice high quality mount for heavier bookshelf type speaker Nice high quality mount for heavier bookshelf type speaker
Did a bunch of research on these before I picked these mounts and glad I did. They are real sturdy. I mounted my Klipsch RP-160Ms as rear surrounds on them. They’re pretty heavy I believe at 22 lbs. i was concerned that with all the bass I have shaking my walls from the 15 inch sub that some cheap mounts may fail. I don’t think that will be a problem with these. There’s 3 screws that you can actually drill about 1/4 inch into your speaker for extra security.. I did use those despite being hesitant to damage my speaker case. But I figured better safe than it falling 7 feet on to my hardwood floors. You can get the clamp pretty tight to hold them. But I just wanted that added protection with the screws, especially with the few degree tilt. they look nice on the wall, come with a cover to hide hardware, cap to hide the bottom bolt. These are high quality mounts and I would recommend. ... show more

  • STOP HERE! BUY THESE!
These wall mounts are really great. If you have the studs in the right place to mount them to, stop here and just buy them. They are really heavy duty, and look nice as well. The other thing about them is, you can still, with a little engineering, very safely use them on much larger speakers than the mount says. My speakers were just about 2 and a half inches too wide for the brackets to clamp the sides of them, so I very carefully with the right pwer tools cut slices on the bottom of the speakers just big enough for those clamps to slide up into, worked great and you would never know by looking, that those barckets were not made for my speakers. I absolutly love them, will get another pair just to have, because of the quality in them. ... show more

  • Impressive
I bought these half thinking they were going to be returned. I wasn't convinced it would be possible to wall mount my 45 lb KEF LS50 Wireless II's and feel comfortable about it. They are HEFTY, STURDY, and really easy to install. They look nice though hide well. Also, screwing into the speaker is an option but not necessary. You adjust the side clamps for as tight or as loose as you want via a screwdriver. They hold VERY snug without movement in the clamps. 10/10 - will buy again when needed. ... show more
