The Carhartt Cooler Backpack does it all. A 2-in-1 pack, it features an insulated base compartment that keeps food and drinks cold, and a large main compartment for carrying gear and accessories. Ideal for camping, picnics, tailgates, beach trips, festivals, concerts, and job sites, it eliminates the need for both a cooler and a backpack, by combining the essential features into one convenient, easy-to-carry bag. The soft cooler compartment holds up to 12 cans, or other food and drink items, as well as an ice pack, and can keep everything cold for over 24 hours. The main compartment holds non- perishable food items, clothes and gear. A front zipper pocket with key fob stores keys and a cell phone, and mesh side pockets keep water bottles and other accessories handy. The Carhartt Cooler Backpack measures 12.5w x 17.75h x 8d inches, weighs 1.5 pounds, and features YKK zippers, and a Carhartt logo patch. Made from heavy duty poly with Rain Defender water repellent for rugged use. Carhartt Work Bags, Packs & Gear are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the normal life of the product.

This lunch box is great with lots of room for food and snacks for a long day at work. The insulated pockets has lots of space for drinks and cold item and is super durable and water proof. The only thing that I would suggest improving is making the zipper pocket a front loading flap for the insulated part because the top is bulky and tips over when flipped open. Super casual player. Just wanted a high quality bag to carry around my discs and a bunch of brewskies for the boys (looks like it could fit 8 tall boys comfortably in the insulated compartment). Very high quality construction. Will be very useful for hiking as well. Couldn’t ask for more!

Works well for my purposes. It doesn’t feel as durable as I expected of Carhartt—but I haven’t had any problems yet (after 2 months of daily use). Pros: 2-in-1: backpack on top, lunch box on bottom. Convenient for me to have all my work stuff in one bag. Main top and bottom compartment have 2 zippers for ease of access and I can open them from center. Compartments are great size for me. The cooler compartment holds my sandwich, yogurt, apple, chips bag, cookie container, carrot sticks bag, ice pack. The top compartment holds a Nalgene, a 40 Oz Hydroflask, a beanie, a portable speaker, Garmin radio, spare AA batteries, snack bag. The small front zipper pocket holds and organizes little things like my wallet, pocket knife, chapstick, pack of gum, Buff, keys. The mesh and canvas pockets on the sides stash gloves and rags well. Cons: The small front zipper pocket only has 1 zipper—I’d like it to have 2 like the other pockets so I can access it from the right hand side (hanging it on the one and only hook in my tractor behind my seat I can’t easily get into it without turning around entirely). The cooler compartment keeps things cool for maybe 5-6 hours with an ice pack, but it isn’t stellar insulation. As a woman, the straps feel too wide cutting into my chest when I carry it on my back. If they were contoured for women it would be more comfortable. ... show more

I can fit all kinds of things and stuff inside the backpack. The cooler area has nice material inside and can fit tons of energy drinks plus ice packs. If the main compartment on top can fit a regular sized binder/ folder that would have been great to make it somewhat bigger/ taller but can fit plenty of storage like things and stuff. ... show more

Bag is just as advertised. Bought this for my bf for his work, he does construction and painting. The bag is still holding up well. Not a lot of room for the main zipper. Cooler section is a good size, able to hold multiple drinks.
