This is a great product that works as intended for the price that I paid. I don't have other similar products to compare this with. I bought this because it was difficult to ever get the right angle to show a newborn to my parents. It also works great when I need to video chat for work. CONS These are non-deal breakers for me. Because I use this for my newborn with my arms and hands restricted, it is very difficult to put my phone into the holder with one hand. My trick is to hold behind the holder and using the bracket as leverage while pushing down on the ledge on the holder that moves then snap it in. This is successful most of the time, but usually get it in within two tries. The goose-neck does get weighed down, so it does need to be adjusted a bit higher than needed because the phone's weight will lower it a bit. PROS Sturdy. I've had this for a month now and doesn't appear to have any wear-and-tear that may indicate it would be defective anytime soon. The goose-neck feels very sturdy. The clamp is made of hard plastic and doesn't appear to bend when clamped to table up-right or upside-down on a shelf. The phone holder seems fine too. Compared to a phone stand, this can be oriented in ways a stand can. This is not as portable where you can just snatch-and-grab-and-place. Does require two hands to move, but that was expected. The clamp appears to be sturdy. I have had no troubles keeping it on tables, shelves, bed frames, etc. I have tightened it quite a bit and didn't see any give. I feel quite comfortable with it not falling over after I attach it. I would buy this again for this specific purpose. I would just get an adjustable phone stand if I just need something to tilt my phone. ... show more

Very sturdy, doesn't jiggle at all, easy to get your phone in and out of, easy to wall mount. My only concern is that the mechanism that holds the phone that you pull to get in and out will eventually fail but I've had this about a year and use it every day and it hasn't. What I'd really like is one of these but that you just slide your phone in and out of the top so any given part won't fail because it's just being adjusted often. But this isn't on the market and until then, this is pretty good. ... show more
