    • clamp on brass adapter for glass shade
The adapter allowed me to put a glass shade on a brass socket on a lamp. It arrived on time and fit perfectly. My wife was very happy to get lamp fixed.

    • I like that it's brass
I like that it's brass, and won't rust. But it's on a gooseneck desk lamp, holding up a glass globe that's a bit too heavy for it. When I touch the globe, it wobbles a bit. It should have been made out of thicker metal.

    • Doesn't fit standard porcelain socket
Looks great and the outer ring (2 1/4" shade holder) fits great, but the inner ring does not fit around a standard porcelain socket. So I have to go find something else. It's just barely too small, which is frustrating. And when you open the clamp all the way, the inner ring is off-center from the outer ring, so a pendant lamp would be a little off balance.
