The camera works great and I opted to mount mine on the outside due to the dark limo tint I use on the rear window. I needed the camera due to the difficulty of seeing at night. mirror display is a fantastic upgrade over traditional dash cams. Easy install, good quality cameras, user friendly interface that seems pretty self explanatory. Could use the WiFi feature and voice control would be nice, which this model doesn’t have, and daytime screen is somewhat difficult to see even at full brightness when there is a lot of sun. Florida daytime sun seems to overwhelm screen brightness, but in cloudier regions it would be fine. Overall good camera system for the money, would recommend. ... show more

    • Waste of money Not safe to drive with dashcame
The lowest quality and dose not show the Reall distance from the object, so it is unsafe to drive with this dash cam because it doesn’t show the real picture. An extension wire they sent is not working for this dash cam.

    • Nice Video Quality, easy to setup and install, Has GPS but its an External Module
The Video quality of the front camera is pretty nice, I like that I'm able to glace up at the mirror to see what's going on when reversing, since its mor natural than looking down at my backup cam. But if you don't have a backup cam in your vehicle, this is an excellent option. The Features and touch screen "buttons" are intuitive and easy to figure out even if you are not a read the manual type of person. The Voice controlling is amazing and works the first time every time. You can tell this to switch between cameras (front and back) tell it to turn off the screen so you can use it as a mirror (and it still records while the screen is off). So I like that I don't have to look and fiddle with buttons while driving, Just speak to it and it does what you want. You can even tell it to lock a clip. For the price, is does have a lot of features, I wont know about longevity until its been in use for awhile. The only CON I have is that the unit does not have BUILT IN GPS, you have to plug in the included module and find a place to install that, so I'm not a fan of having so many cables coming out of the Unit, 3 Total, 1 for the power, 1 for the rear camera and 1 for the GPS module. Maybe in future iterations it will come built in, but for now you have to deal with a GPS Block and find a place to install it where its not in the way and does not look tacky. So if you are looking for a dashcam and backup cam for your vehicle and don't want to deal with sticking things to your windshield, have voice controls, and parking assist, this is for you. I am very pleased thus far with how it operates. If anything changes I will update my review with additional findings. ... show more

Been running it a few months now. I have no real complaints except that the pivot mount it comes with should allow for mounting so that the camera can be installed upside down or the camera needs the ability to be rotated upside down. The camera works great and I opted to mount mine on the outside due to the dark limo tint I use on the rear window. I needed the camera due to the difficulty of seeing at night. I mounted on the glass outside and of course ran wire through the trunk. And then worked to the front. I drive a small sedan 2010 VW cc. I also purchased the adapter for the permanent install so you won’t have to use the cigarette lighter. Fantastic honestly. Was easy install over all and the other issue when using it outside the vehicle is sometime when it rains the water will sit on the lens. Clear it before driving to avoid. ... show more
