I rarely review a product but this needs to be done this time. I have studied different basketball hoops for several months. Finally I found this one. The price was right and received good reviews. First I received the set several days earlier than expected. The goal was packaged very well with all parts marked. The directions were easy to follow taking about 2 hours to assemble. I did have a question about one assembly step and called customer service. I didn’t get an answer so we proceeded anyway. That afternoon we were playing basketball! But that’s not all, later in the evening I got a text from the company saying they were sorry they missed my call and asked what it was I needed. Wow! What company does that anymore?! I told them what I had needed and a response came shortly. Turned out we had properly installed the part in question. This is a nice, quality product with customer support if needed. I’m very happy with my choice. My 9 and 12 year old grandchildren will be using it as well as adults. Perfect fit. ... show more

We have only had this for 2 days. So far, the basketball hoop is sturdy and looks as advertised. For additional safety, I would recommend placing extra weight on the base, even though it’s full of water. Backboard seems sturdy as well. BUT within minutes of playing, the net broke.
