We brought this for our grandchildren. It is very sturdy with high quality materials. My husband and I put it together. Probably the most difficult thing was making it level. All the pieces were included. The directions could have been a little better but we managed to put it together despite that. The grandkids were thrilled. We added artificial flowers in the flower box and a flag that made it very homey . We are very happy with this purchase . It looks great in the yard.

This playset looks great and quality of the materials is pretty decent. The instructions for assembly are pretty bad. There are missing steps, steps out of order, steps that are not clear, measurements that were obviously converted from metric but not converted to imperial fractions.. The holes for the swing hardware were pre-drilled in the wrong direction.. swings don't swing sideways... so I had to measure and drill my own. I don't recommend attempting to assemble this thing unless you are VERY handy and have experience constructing things. I got it done in about 8 to 10 hours over 2 days I would guess (several of those hours were spent putting the posts in the ground and getting them just right.. it's not rocket science, but it can be time consuming to get right.) The only part where I really needed another person to help was standing-up & attaching the A-frame. I'm not a fan of the method of install --- digging holes and securing them with concrete. You need to dig 6 holes (4 for the main playhouse & 2 for the A-frame) about 8 inches deep... it's very difficult to get the posts square and level get the A-frame aligned and level. We're happy with it. If the instructions had been better, it would have been easier and saved some time.

We have loved this playset! We have had it for a little over a year now- it is handled all sorts of weather in the Western North Carolina mountains. Well. The only thing to consider is that it is quite wobbly without additional support. We sunk the legs of the main structure as described in the instructions, but that does not allow the legs of the swing set part to go in the ground at all and therefore is wobbly. We had to get two pieces of rebar to drive through the wood and into the ground to stabilize the structure. Overall, if you have any common sense, the setup of the structure was pretty easy! My toddler has loved it! Just be aware, if you have a daredevil of a child- you might have some anxiety about the three openings in the house structure. If you only have one adult available.

This thing is built like a tank. Quality materials, no missing or broken parts, and feels super solid and stable. It’s also gorgeous! My husband is very handy and it took him a couple half days to get everything assembled and set with concrete. Our freshly minted 2 year old lost her mind with happiness when she saw it. Our backyard is so magical now - Happy Mother’s Day to me!

All in all I’m happy with my purchase and my daughter and her friends love playing on it. It only took me 3-4 hours to put it together by myself; I’m also happy with the quality of the material. We’ve got a narrow backyard, and I liked that the layout was flexible enough I could change the sides the various components (stairs, rock wall, slide) were attached to, as you can see from the photo. The full color directions are good, and there are a lot of pictures showing different angles so you get a good idea what right looks like. The only thing I’d do differently on assembly is it initially tells you to set the four main posts in concrete. Before you do it, consider if your yard has a slope, even a minor one, and factor in the two swing set-side posts you’ll have to set later, and make sure the depth you set for the four primary 4x4s takes any slope drop into account.

The instructions on this product are awful. It came missing a board that is essential to put the roof together. There were missing machine holes to place bolts in as well as some of the holes were off so that the bolt would not fit into the screw eye to hold the piece together. If that cannot go in the structure is unsafe. I have spent hours trying to rectify many issues to no avail. Do not buy unless you enjoy frustration.

Got this swing set for my kiddos and they love playing with it!! It's beautiful and sturdy and fits so well in our backyard. Great for getting the kids outdoors and fairly simple to put it together, just takes time. Highly recommend! Also major plus is Avenlur has amazing customer service!
