I’m only 5’3 and I bought this chair because other people mentioned it being comfortable for smaller people. The depth of the chair is much better than other options on the market (could be a little shorter so my feet fully touch the ground when the recliner is in upright position). But the real disappointment was with the height of the back. When I recline, my head isn’t even fully supported. They couldn’t make the fabric reach a little bit higher? A little disappointing considering the main reason I purchased this was for comfort. This detail alone is enough for me to return it. Also, how much more expensive would it be for them to add a lever to recline? The fabric and the color are gorgeous, it’s a beautiful accent chair. Very easy to assemble, arrived earlier than promised. But it’s not comfortable at all, it’s very hard in all the wrong places. The part where the elbows fall in reclined position doesn’t have any cushioning and so does the stoop for the feet. I’m 5’7” and I feel crammed when I’m the first reclining position, my knees up up to my nose, the seat is not deep enough to be comfortable. Sadly, I threw away the box it came in, so can’t return it but I regret this purchase. Good idea, they just didn’t think the design and comfortability parts through ... show more
