    • Sync Time A Little Rough, But Still Satisfied
When I bought my new 55" Samsung, it didn't have the same plug in port to accommodate the current Avantree Headset that I had been using for the past several years, so rather than going through trying to find adapters to update the original one, I opted to get one that used bluetooth technology. (My old one needed to be replaced anyway, as its age was showing its age with cracks in the fabric of the over-the-head ear covers. The hook up of the new one was fairly simple (Thanks to a "How-To" Youtube Video) -- since the instructions that came with the box were vague. It takes about 3 attempts every time I turn it on, for the bluetooth signal to sync up with the headset (which isn't too annoying, but the original one spoiled me). Once it connects, it's blissful. Pros: No lag in speech whatsoever Distance is farther than listed Small size receiver box (small footprint) Fairly easy to setup Comes with all the cords you need for charging and hooking up to tv (need to supy your own plug though for USB cords) Cons: Volume button on earpiece of headset will take time to get used to. It is just remember which side of the button to click for volume up/down. You can use volume on t.v. however It is very comfortable on my head but it doesn't seem to be adjustable. You can't pull on the ear pieces to pull them down lower. The husband has multiple sclerosis so I am able to watch t.v. without disturbing him when he is having a rough streak and needs more sleep than usual. I had my hard of hearing mom try these and they worked well for her, too. Might make a 2nd purchased for her if she promised to actually use them. Wolume is up and down for both ears simultaneously. No adjustment available on just the right/left side. ... show more

The main reason I did not give this 5 stars is that the sender will randomly shut completely off. My husband (the one using the headphones) has trouble getting around so it is difficult for him to turn it back on. The volume control can be a little challenging for some with dexterity or coordination issues. He leaves it at one setting. The noise cancelation works excellent! He said it does have really good sound quality! It holds a charge very well! ... show more

I originally bought a pair of these headsets a couple months ago. I had a problem with the power connection. When they made contact with me simply as a follow-up, I told them that I was just getting ready to contact them about the problem. The woman from service, Jeany, immediately started a service order to resolve the problem. She set up an immediate exchange which took place without any issues. Then I a problem setting it up, all my problem, so Jeany called me and took me through it step-by-step until I finally got it right. Good products without good service make no sense. I Would give this five stars, but it was difficult to figure out how to set up. But once I got it set up, it works really well. I don’t have a good hearing, so this really makes the dialogue very clear. Great sound.

FOLLOW UP - it ended up being my fault - the email was sent & ended up in my junk folder - found today 8/8 afternoon when Avantree sent an email that got to me. YES - THEY DO STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS SHOULD YOU HAVE A PROBLEM - I’M SO HAPPY BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THESE HEADPHONES- THEY LET ME WALK ALL OVER MY HOUSE & LISTEN WITHOUT ANY STATIC. YOU WILL LOVE THESE & THE COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. JG 8/8/22 This is my second purchase of these headphones. (1) The 1st was 10/2020 worked fine until one day went to put the charger in the the headset & it pushed inside - no good now. (2) 2nd purchase 6/2022, worked fine then just 3 days after return period, when first got connected the sound would BLAST into head set then return to normal, thought maybe fluke let it go, then stared to do more often. Also, at this time, it took forever for the set to connect, next time it happened I timed it - it took 3 minutes to connect, the same with disconnecting - again timed 2 - 3 minutes to disconnect. I contacted Amazon for help 7/2022 - they said I need to contact the seller “AVANTREE”. I did, they gave me a ticket number & said they would handle the problem & get me a replacement as this one was obviously defective. They asked me to send the Lot/Batch numbers on the head set - I did. They sent an email thanking me & that I will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours - did NOT Receive any. 8/5 I sent an email saying still haven’t heard back - Again - NO reply. Today 8/8 I sent another email - so far heard nothing. Looks like this company doesn’t stand by their products, which says a lot about the quantity of the product they’re selling. Will see if they do or don’t stand by quality of their products - I WILL follow up with you all. ... show more
