This cooling comforter really helps on those hot nights, or even days, when it is just too hot to sleep. This comforter is silky smooth and very cool feeling, like it has been refrigerated, and it really stays cool. Definately worth the money imho.

The creation of this blanket is nothing short of a modern day miracle! The material is so soft & silky - it literally feels like LIQUID SILK ON YOUR BARE SKIN! The sateen nylon material of this cover really does provide a cooling effect, which I found is AMPLIFIED EVEN MORE if you place a fan at your feet. The construction of this blanket is impressive, as well. It's actually made from 2 separate pieces of silky nylon fabric - one sheet is light blue, and the other is pale gray. A super thin layer of breathable polyester batting is sandwiched inside. Both sides of the coverlet are joined together with widely spaced, vertically stitched pleats (in matching thread), that run the length of the blanket. The outside perimeter is finished with a continuous edge of rolled white piping trim. The weight of this blanket is extremely light, and the cooling effects of the materials make this a perfect summertime spread. I got this coverlet in hopes of relieving debilitating hot flashes & night sweats I've been experiencing through menopause. This blanket is giving me MUCH NEEDED RELIEF! Oh, how I wish I would've found this product a year ago! I've just been suffering through my symptoms every single night, losing precious, essential, vital sleep. Whenever I would (or could) actually reach a state of slumber, I'd only get a small window of rest before my body would wake me back up again. This continuous cycle of sleep sabotage, (and the sleep debt I've accumulated as a result), has really taken a toll on my mental health & wrecked my overall well being. With the help of this soft silky blanket, I'm finally staying cool & comfortable all night long. By also practicing good sleep hygeine habits, I am now able to fall asleep faster & stay asleep longer, for a more refreshing & restful night! This cooling coverlet is something ALL menopausal women should have! It is positively LIFE CHANGING!! ♡ Side note: Laundering instructions state to use cold water on a delicates cycle to wash this cover. I launder my blanket by itself & hang it to air dry afterwards. It is not advised to use a heated dryer cycle on this cover because it could damage the material. To preserve the blanket's smooth, silky texture & it's cooling effects long term, this is a line dry (or no heat cycle) item. To be honest, I kinda balked at the special drying instructions when I first got this blanket. But after using the cover & experiencing it's cooling benefits, I can attest that this small sacrifice is worth the extra effort! Fortunately, nylon is a very porous fabric & is extremely breathable, so it air dries quickly without the need of a heated tumble. :D The Wolliwa cooling coverlet blanket is undoubtedly one of my TOP 5 Amazon purchases for 2025!

I recently received this "Cooling Comforter" in light blue, and it’s great for someone like me who runs hot at night. The blanket feels super soft and silky, almost like slipping into cool sheets fresh from the laundry, but I would definitely not call it a comforter (which I consider to be thick and fluffy) and more of a regular blanket. This is a good thing if you're a hot sleeper, since it’s lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh you down, but still gives that cozy vibe. The double-sided design is neat—one side feels a bit cooler to the touch, which is perfect when I’m tossing and turning trying to find a cold spot. It does a solid job keeping night sweats at bay. I wake up feeling dry and comfy, not sticky or overheated. The breathable fabric seems to pull heat away, though it’s not like sleeping in a fridge—it warms up a tad over time, but nothing crazy. I just shift a bit, and it’s cool again. The light blue color is soft and calming, fitting nicely in my bedroom without screaming for attention. My only gripe is it could be a smidge fluffier for that extra snuggly feel, but it’s not a dealbreaker. If you’re a hot sleeper or just want something airy for summer, this comforter’s worth checking out. It’s comfy, practical, and does what it promises without any fuss.

This blanket is so soft and comfortable!!! It does feel cool and has helped me to sleep better. It washes well. I’m glad I read the reviews, it does still feel a little damp after drying, but it’s dry. I’m still waking up warm; however, our dogs sleep in our bed. They are little space heaters. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

First off, I have always been someone that sweats easily. 63 degrees is my preferred temp for sleep and I usually have a fan blowing on me year round and my window cracked even in below zero Wisconsin winters. I usually wake up with my hair damp from sweat because I'm a super hot sleeper. With all that said, I have no idea how this blanket works but it does. Now, about this blanket. It's super light and thin while still being two layered. The material has a silky feel and it actually does feel cool to the touch. I wash it on a light setting in warm water and dry on low heat. It comes out of the dryer feeling wet, but that's just the cooling feel. It feels super luxurious against your skin. If I wake up feeling too warm, I just shift the blanket to a spot that wasn't touching my skin to get the cooling feel. I would definitely recommend this for warm climates and hot sleepers like me.

I was really hoping for a better cooling blanket. The blanket itself is fantastic. It is nice and soft, very comfortable, although it is slippery. However it doesn’t keep you cool. It only stays cool for a few minutes. You have to constantly rearrange it to get the cooling effect. It won’t keep you cool all night unless you wake up every few minutes to rearrange the blanket. Overall I am really disappointed in it.
