This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.
The product being reviewed is a renewed version of the renowned Apple AirPods. Users highlight the sound quality and functionality as being like-new, and value the affordability compared to buying a brand-new set. However, minor cosmetic imperfections such as scratches on the case and earbuds, and a loose lid on the case have been mentioned, though they didn't affect the overall quality of the product.
Pros
- 🔊 Sound quality is reported as excellent, and comparable to new AirPods
- 💲 Affordable alternative to buying new
- 👌 Comes with the case, charger, and extra ear pieces
- 🎁 Some users found them to be a perfect gift item
Cons
- ✖️ Minor cosmetic wear and tear such as scratches
- 🔍 "Find My iPhone" feature may not work with these refurbished products
- 🔃 Some users reported intermittent connection issues over time
- 📦 Does not come in original Apple packaging
Should I Buy It?
If you're looking for Apple AirPods without the lofty price tag, these renewed AirPods are a great bet. While they come with minor cosmetic blemishes, they offer excellent sound quality and overall functionality. However, if you're particular about having the "Find My iPhone" feature for your AirPods or if you prefer a product in its original packaging, you might want to consider other options.
Amazing AirPods!
Amazing AirPods! Amazing for the price you pay. I had a gift card and thought I’d try these out as I’ve never had AirPods, and I wanted the Pros but didn’t want to pay that price at Apple. So I bought these, and they are amazing. Great sound quality, love the noise cancellation, they fit well, and they er still compatible with newer iPhones. Love the adjustability and portability. Amazing headphones, would definitely recommend.

don’t buy just get new ones
i bought these cause i’m broke and i don’t have a job and im a highs school student thinking that they would be good based off of the reviews i saw. the airpods didn’t come in the original box which i wasn’t really expecting they would but it would’ve been nice, the case was also scratched up when i first took them out and the airpods also have some small scratches and marks on them too which i wouldn’t have expected from the “excellent quality” refurbished ones. anyways i didnt really care about the scratches and marks that much because the looks don’t matter that much, it’s whether they work and sound good or not. i take them out of the case and the left airpod starts playing weird static noises, like TV static. it also makes a weird noise anytime i step idk why, but that “excellent quality” description seems a little miss leading. definitely going to try to return it and get my money back ASAP. but like i said in the title of the review, just spend the extra $150 and get brand new, newest model airpods.

Product Arrived DEFECTIVE!
I’m quite familiar with this product, as these are my 7th pair. (My job causes me to lose/ leave my airpods all the time.) However, this is the first time I’ve ever purchased a used/refurbished/ renewed pair. But since I lose them all the time, I thought it may be a cost effective option for me. Unfortunately, my device was defective out of the box! **Story Time** My Airpods Pro didn’t come with all of the materials that come in the original box and the charger I received [packaged separately] was not even an apple brand. This didn’t bother me much, as I have more than enough accessories for this item. The device itself appeared clean and undamaged. When I opened the device to check the battery status, it was dead [Apple has a policy of not sending their devices fully charged for shipping safety reasons, so I assumed the previous owner received the item new and returned them without charging it more]. I connected the airpods to my OFFICIAL Apple charger from a previous device and the battery light immediately glowed green. Confused, I then proceeded to pair it to my phone. The first attempt was successful. I checked my battery notification screen on my iPhone and the airpods case displayed a full 100% charge, yet the airpods themselves were each dead at 1%. After a few seconds of charge, they reached 7% [charging speed rare, but not completely unheard of], so I took the case off the charger and went to test out the sound quality. As soon as I took an earpiece out- the entire device went off. The case and pods still read as charging on my phone even though I had removed them from charging moments before. I could not find the devise in my drop menu, so I went into settings to manually pair the AirPods again- but they wouldn’t sync. After 4/5 times connecting and forgetting device, I attempted to reattach the charger- NOW the AirPods case is on 0% but the earpieces are both on 13% 🙄. As soon as I plug them back in, the airpods sync again and I am able to hear the pairing chime on my earpiece. SECONDS LATER the airpods die and the phone shows they are on 0% *charging* WHILE they are still in my ears! Like I said, I’ve had a ton of airpods, I know how to troubleshoot most any problem they give me. I’ve never had to deal with this kind of headache before- ESPECIALLY on day 1. I’m so over it! I’m going to an Apple store first thing in the morning. This was a horrible experience.

Excellently renewed… and perfect 👌🏽 #happyCamper ;)
Perfect. No regrets. I’d always hated the idea of buying AirPods and couldn’t figure out why they were such a big deal. I’m not a cheapskate but I’d just always thought these were an unnecessary waste of money. So I stuck with cheaper products. And while I don’t have anything against those, per se, there was just always something with them. They never lasted or they didn’t fit in my ears as I wanted. I run long distance so it helps to not have to worry about something falling out my ears! Decided to get the AirPods Pro after a recent fiasco with another cheaper pair of earbuds. I was simply tired. I never leave reviews but since it really feels like I hit the jackpot with this one, a review felt necessary. This pair is very comfortable; fits in my ears like an “ear glove”. Also, the sound quality is equal to none. Pretty much all the issues I’d had before are gone. It charges well too! That said, praying that this pair lasts a while because, renewed or not, they sure put a tiny dent in my pocket ;)
