    • Great product, easy to use, huge time saver
This is a game changer in the winter for snow removal on rooftops. I used to use a shovel or snow bucket/scoop and this is so much faster and saves on your back, but definitely gives you an arm workout. Works best when the snow is fresh and free of ice. Ice tore my tarp and was hard to push through naturally. Also, not easy to use on windy days as the tarp part doesn't stay laying flat so snow cannot slide off easily. I was also not able to reach the top of the roof but got majority off (which matters most) before having to go up and shovel off the peak (only if the snow was extremely heavy, otherwise I left it). Overall I would still highly recommend this item and will be using it every winter. ... show more

    • Even better than expected
Purchased for my place up in Tahoe during the record breaking winter of 22/23 .... snow loads on the roof had never been an issue till this year, where ice dams were forming and leaks appearing in the house. The Avalanche 750 cut thru the several feet of snow like a hot knife thru butter, i was amazed at what short work it made of clearing the entire area with no damage to my roof! Several of my neighbours have already been by and asked about it and with heavy rain on top of record snow I'm now much more confident my house will survive! Easy to assemble in minutes with no tools, easy to use and perfect results!!!! Now if only it would shovel the snow it clears off the roof after - lol! :) ... show more

    • Works well but heavy
We needed this to get snow off the roof during big storms. It works well but it is heavy so we had to have two people to get the snow off the roof. Definitely worth the purchase to keep the heavy snow from damaging your roof.

This is the second rake we ordered due to last winters snow that just kept coming We've used it once so far and worked well on our metal roof in Colorado. Our roof is easy to scratch so this worked well. A big storm on the way, so I will update if anything changes. It is stronger than the first rake.
