I don't typically write reviews unless I'm extremely impressed or very upset. In this case, I was very happy with the KVM switch/dock and even more blown away by the customer service. I ordered the KVM on Wednesday and got it Friday. I was upset to find that after I hooked everything up, the power didn't work on the KVM. I immediately reached out to customer service Friday night, spoke to Johnny, and was very happy with the support. After explaining that I tested the outlet so I know it works, and everything was hooked up correctly, he immediately put in a request to have my KVM replaced. Johnny proactively followed up on Monday telling me my replacement was on its way. I received the replacement Wednesday morning and it works beautifully!! Thank you Johnny for the excellent support! This unit accomplishes exactly what I was hoping for. It's easy to set up, and allows me to dock my work laptop and connect my personal desktop at the same time. The quality is excellent, and I can switch between the two PC's with the click of a button. It switches fast, and I can use the same keyboard, mouse, monitors, etc. without having to unplug and plug things in anymore! To top it off, my laptop charges while I'm switched to the desktop. I would HIGHLY recommend this product if it fits your needs, would absolutely buy more products from this company because I know the quality is there, and just as importantly, they strive for 100% satisfaction!

Style: 4K HDMI for Laptop&Desktop
I received this today and was excited to try it. The labeling was a bit confusing but I figured it out in short order with the enclosed diagram. Switcher works great and I was quite happy to see two monitors work (from my Microsoft Surface) and not just a single I've used in the past. However... I may have misunderstood, but my understanding was that this would charge my laptop while I was working like every other USBC docking station I've ever used. But according to the instructions it looks like I need a separate device if I want to use this to charge my laptop. This seems bizarre and difficult to believe. It also sounds at odds with the reviews I read. Am I missing something? If I have to buy another device in order to charge my laptop that will be a real downer. --UPDATE-- It does indeed require power. This would be a fantastic unit WITH power. Without it... well, why would you NOT want it? I just don't understand. Also, you should remove "100W USB-C Charging" from the title if I need to add my own charger. It's like listing your house with a pool (if you choose to have one installed). To their credit, they responded to me immediately with a refund offer. That means a lot! AND - as long as you go into it understanding you'll need to supply power, it does work great and seems to have better features than the competitors I looked into.

I bought this product in order to serve as a dock for my company-issued HP Elitebook laptop while sharing dual monitors, a keyboard, mouse and webcam with my personal desktop PC in a WFH environment. Initially, after configuring all of the devices exactly as the diagram in the documentation indicated, I was not able to see the laptop display on (or even detect) the monitors (the other connected USB devices worked fine). I tried a number of troubleshooting steps, but to no avail. I then did various searches on the web to see if any other users experienced similar and learned that some other users had concluded that the device was not compatible with their laptop (most of which were from users of HP devices). I had made up my mind to return the device the next day. However, i found one post in which the user was able to resolve the issue by purchasing a "high-quality Thunderbolt 4 cable capable of delivering 100W power". I went to a local computer store and bought such a cable and, lo and behold, IT WORKED! The device worked wonderfully with no flickering, long delays and while preserving all display settings. Each to their own, but I would recommend ordering a Thunderbolt 4 (or higher spec) cable along with this product if your laptop has a Thunderbolt port. Previous to this, I'd been using a much more complicated setup involving a docking station. It's so wonderful to be able to dock AND charge your laptop and be able to share peripherals with a desktop PC using just a single cable (Thunderbolt 4)! This is the second device that I have owned from AV Access and I can absolutely recommend their products based on my experience.
