Works perfectly I put it on my roof with a roof basket due to how little room I had in my car this thing is sturdy as heck just be warned while driving you hear the wind moving through it

    • Instructions are not clear not accurate. Item is just average quality
So the instructions are not really clear. It tells you to remove the cover from the bracket but not how. Struggled with this for about an hour, prying with a screwdriver, hand, you name it. No luck, checked other reviews and no help there. So then I tried the key to unlock it and it then that's when it finally came apart. I had wish they had said that first. Also there is no "yellow arrow" to align the rails correctly. The Allen key is crap. The rail bracket housing is very cheap as well as the lock mechanism. It's a good price and will probably do what I need it for but I think that OEM while more expensive,would have been better quality. I don't see this lasting but just a few years. ... show more

Installed as instructions, carefully checked and adjusted few times. The clamps are too shallow to reach into the roof rack channel. Possibility of the cross bars coming off, with any cargo on the (a kayak for me) and causing serious accidents and injury. WILL FIT by removing the rubber spacer pad that protects your rails from being scratched up. ... show more
