The reason I mentioned Customer Service in my headline is because I ran into trouble and I was frantic. I introduced my dog to it 1 week prior to needing it for a long day trip I was taking and all was going well until it wasn't. The day before I was leaving it stopped working. I couldn't schedule the feedings. It kept saying I had nothing saved, it said I was no longer connected. I called the customer service number in the booklet, a person actually answered (without a long list of prompts before hand). The representative was patient and helpful in trouble shooting. It turned out to be an internet problem. After I got that settled with my cable company, I called customer service back again for help to set the feeder back up again because at that point I couldn't even think straight being pressed for time in leaving and having to have the feeder set up. I was missing steps and it wasn't connecting. Again, the representative who answered was just as helpful and patient with me. We got it up and running, and when I left my dog was fed on time without any complications and it has been working with no problem ever since. I wanted to share with everyone that there is a good customer service behind this product, should you ever need it because that is important too. Now about the feeder and what I like about it. For starters, after doing some research I picked this particular feeder because of the good reviews, the price point and value (had the camera). I am using it for a 10 year old lab. A lot of the advertising and reviews mention cats, but it works well for dogs too. My dog gets 1 cup of food in the morning and 1 cup at night, so the feeder is a fine size for his portions. It took me a few tries to figure out that 7 portions was equal to his 1 cup of food. The bowl is a little small but his 1 cup of food does fit in it without spilling out ... that is if he waits for it to all come out before starting to eat, which he never does. He even looks all around it for more, moving it a little bit, but it has never knocked over. It is very sturdy. He did hit the feed button once with his head, but unless you schedule it for more than 1 portion that is all that is going to come out. It must have been a fluke because it has never happened again. It is always full and ready to go, but I do not use it if I am home, and he has never self fed himself again. I like that the bowl is stainless, easy to clean. The unit does not take up a lot of room and looks neat and clean lined up by his food container and water. I love how it has a camera, I can be alerted if there is movement, alerted that the food was successfully dispensed, and I can see him eat. Being able to have a recording of my voice on it to play when the food is released is a nice added touch, especially at the beginning when he wasn't attuned to the feeder. I don't know how long automatic feeders have been a thing, but I sure wish I knew about them when I was working a lot of overtime and poor little guy had to wait for me to come home to eat. Kudos to Yakry for having such a great product!

I've had this feeder for over a year & I'm very happy with it. Pros - easy to set up and connect to wifi - large capacity - over a week for my 2 hungry kitties - Reliable - The camera mostly shows just the tops of their heads when they're eating, but it's still nice to see the kitties when I'm not home. - The app is easy to use to schedule times and amounts, and I like the notification when food is dispensed. (I don't talk to them or play a message because that seems to just confuse them.) - Good customer service. The one time I contacted them - to ask for a pdf of the user guide - they responded right away and were friendly and helpful. Only Con - The reason I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's no notification when food is getting low - but there still are notifications that food was dispensed even when there's no food and the bowl is empty! I've learned to keep an eye on the food level, but I wish there was a warning notification before it runs out...

We have two outside dogs. We use the automatic dog feeders to feed them and also check on them if we are away. We connected them to our wifi, have dogs on schedule. The feeders camera is the best, we can speak to dogs and see dogs/dog area. We protected our wiring and feeder using a custom box we made and outdoor outlets. We are very happy with our feeders. It gives us peace of mind to know are dogs are covered. The feeders will notify you for every successful or not successful feed. One of my dogs doesnt eat all their food, so the feeder may not push more out if food area is blocked. It notifies me and I can watch to see what is going on. Was able to go on vacation for 4 days with husband, left dogs and they were happy and fed when we got back. Greatest tool ever, customer service is the best. Got a replacement part within a week of asking. Great buy and highly recommend. Amazing company.

This is such an amazing product, I definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s perfect for feeding animals on a timed schedule through the app. I love that you can view your pet through a camera and make sure they are eating the food and it just amazing because you can measure how much your dog is really eating daily. I also used this recently to feed the outdoor feral cats that live around my house while I was out of town because I didn’t want them to go hungry while I was gone. I put it outside in my patio area so it wouldn’t get wet if it rained & I set a schedule in the app to have the food dispensed at a certain time each day & then I could also view the camera through the app & see the cats coming to get the food. It’s such a cool product & everything works so well. I also love that you can screw it into the wall or whatever you choose so that your dog or cat can’t knock it over or it can’t fall over. I absolutely love this automatic feeder. I think it’s great for people with cats so that just incase they have to leave the cat/cats for 1-2days they have a way to feed them on a set schedule & they have a way to check in and see their animal. I have 2 dogs & my German Shepard is fascinated with this feeder & LOVES eating out of it. She stands by it & waits for the feeder to release food. 😂 Even if I have food in a regular bowl she will wait for the automatic feeder to eat. However my little dog is a little scared of it & it’s going to take some getting used to before he will eat out of it on the regular. PROS/CONS: I LOVE THAT IT HAS A CAMERA!!!! The quality is amazing during the day & night. It has a couple tiny red lights that come on when it gets dark for night mode & the picture is clear either way. I personally wish the camera was a little higher or in a spot where you can see the animal better when they are up close but for small animals the camera will just show a really close up of their face when they are eating. I was SHOCKED with how wide the camera view is, I can see my entire kitchen through the camera (in the app) I can even see higher up than the counters. I don’t really have any CONS. I’ve been testing it for 1month before reviewing & have had absolutely no issues. I just wish I would have gotten it sooner. The sound is also great. I love that you can talk to your pet through the camera while you are at work or running errands. It’s super easy to take apart & clean as well. And I love that it came with a USB cord AND a wall cube. You can also dispense food by pressing the “feed” button on the machine. It also has a “record” button and a “reset” button on the machine. But you can also manage it all through the app & set a schedule or press the button everyday through the app & you can change the amount that comes out and everything. Super user friendly and easy. SET UP: It was so simple to set this up. I was surprised. I just hooked a couple pieces together & plugged it in & connected WiFi & scanned a QR code & that was it. I love when they make things user friendly & easy. 😂

We’re pleased with this feeder. It works well, is reliable, and the app is pretty good. It’s fun to see our cat race to the feeder when it’s feeding time. I gave it four stars because we’ve realized that our cat will stick her paw up into the chute where the food comes out. There are flexible vanes or little blades that rotate when the feeder operates. She’s figured out that she can reach up in there to flex one of the little blades to make some food drop into the bowl any time she wants. She isn’t getting extra food; she’s just able to get a small portion of the food that is ready to drop at the next feeding time. She may get half a tablespoon, something like that. The manufacturer should consider a small flapper that would only swing one direction to let food fall out but would block a cat from reaching in there.
